An even more x-rayed picture has been posted by a user over at brickset. Details are still barely visible but I think it's slightly better than the other x-rays.

That black bar at the top of the box is weird. Its as if it were the box art used in regular sets. Yet I doubt what we're looking at is the back of the box, due to the size of the main Falcon picture and the amount of action going on (I'd assume the back would show the ship in a hangar). Maybe it's just deep space over a planet's surface?

What I don't understand is why TLG decided to use a real picture of the falcon box covered in white - they could just as easily shown a picture of a plain white box with nothing underneath. If that's the way they're going to be, they might as well just come out and say it's the falcon without showing any pictures.

I know, right? Some guy in Hong Kong has every minifig from 75188, 75189, and 75190 listed for ~30 USD each.

Personally Ive been burned too many times by all D2C set selling out in seconds the moment there's any discount on them. 10% off just isnt worth waiting for IMO, especially on a set that size (like, if I can pay $1440 for it, I can just as much pay $1600 for it)

I'm also in the buying it when it comes out camp. Double VIP amounts to $40 US off which doesn't seem worth waiting months for. I'm fully on the hype train and I have vacation time to use before December. I'm just worried about stock being an issue. Anyone know how many sets the Lego Stores usually get for bigger sets?

It was pretty much a rhetorical question. The fellow claims that it's authentic, and I believe him 100%, because we'd be seeing 75190 knockoffs otherwise.

I would watch this link for more info on the Falcon; according to the pattern that this retail site uses, we'll see a product description on there at some point. Actually, I believe that the pages for the TLJ sets were public a couple of days ago, so 75192's may have been as well. >:(

 

Will it be before the official reveal or not? No clue.

But it has a hollow stud on top of the head? I know that it is possible but he could easily make a pic of a part (torso) with the Lego logo on it.

In light of the fact that both Disney and TLG are notoriously strict with their street dates for promotional tie-ins of any kind, I would agree that the odds of it being a genuine figure are especially slim. That said, I still suspect that we'd be seeing bootlegs en masse by this point if folks such as those over at Lepin were going to attempt to profit from doing so, as Force Friday II is less than a month away from today.

If you're suggesting that they guy made it himself, then I can tell you that I would definitely buy that figure. That would be some serious high-quality craftsmanship.
