I'm sort of getting over the whole LG/Disney dynamic, they are taking a small amount of fun out the whole toy aspect for these days...

May just move on to something else if they don't lighten up...

Yeah, I sort of thought we were past all of the secrecy and censorship, especially considering the fact that the RO products were revealed officially so far in advance. Besides, it's not like any of the January sets contain major spoilers, and RO is inherently pre-spoiled due to the fact that it's a prequel anyway. At least with some of the TFA products it was understandable, but the LEGO sets were not among the products that contained sensitive information. Also, as much as I love the leaks, I do worry that they will have a negative impact on the relationship between Disney/LFL & TLG, possibly resulting in some sort of consequence that will affect the end consumers.

Yeah, the phantom set is excellent! Kanan, chopper, and thrawn in a good sized set. A must buy for me and I know you guys will like it too :)

I'm excited. It'll be the first Rebels set I purchase due to the inclusion of Thrawn.

Same here. Other than Thrawn, I'm looking forward to getting blind Kanan. And hopefully the new Phantom has some decent interior space, given that it's at a higher price point than the original!

As a reminder, this isn't the place to debate or complain about embargoes and other issues regarding leaked information; I understand that such a discussion can stem from and can concern Star Wars rumor discussion, but it itself isn't actually discussion of Star Wars rumors, and would be more appropriate in General Discussion or The Embassy. And in any case, the discussion isn't applicable to this topic for now, as EB hasn't heard anything from TLG regarding the recently leaked information. Thanks!

What do you mean by good size? I'd be hoping for a small set with Thrawn. That's what I would consider good.

Thanks for the heads up amazingbricks

This set definitely sounds to me a day one purchace. The fact we're getting blind Kanan this early and that we're also getting Thrawn in medium set sounds a very good deal to me.

This is the right place - so that the companies can see how absurd this censorship is. Besides, there's nothing else we can discuss here anyway. The "legal debate" hast just been reduced to "only post pictures when Lego.com released them, probably 2 months after the pictures got published on many other sites.

No seriously, the problem is that there are not enough mediums for Lego. 90 % of TFA's plot plus many other things were accessible to everyone who can use google for 2 minutes (they were even on makingSW, without getting deleted). Leaks about Lego are around the internet too, but they lack a medium for the range to potentiate. So knowledge is limited to the folks how know the right sites & those who get PM's from them. Ever since TFA the autocratic censorship has been a 85 % success.

I's not my place to blame EB, you guys probably have to do everything they say. Like brickset, this is a vital place for AFOL's. But if there's a high enough demand for information on future sets, fans will simply create alternative mediums with thread's that fulfull their purpose.

It was this january when brickset wrote sets descriptions from the london toy fair and Lego asked them to take them down.I mean set descriptions not even pictures.

And funny thing is two weeks after that we had photos for those very same sets from the new york toy fair.

I think it was in the $40 range? Also, if Thrawn is in the set then it makes sense for the Kanan figure to be the S3 version. I'm guessing it'll utilise a new mould as the armour plate goes over his face and part of his hair.

Taking down SET LISTS?! Now, I completely understand the prelim pics thing, but no counterfeiter is capable of copying a product from just a mistranslated name... Anyway, can't wait for that Phantom! I'm watching the second season of Rebels right now, and I'm enjoying it quite a lot... might make me finally bite the bullet and buy something based on the show.

It can't be illegal to post set names and descriptions.... Woke up this morning checked thebrickfan and they've posted cm4sci's DC Super Girls sets descriptions and names. Surely if there was such a rule or law they'd know and most likely abide by it. As for the Phantom it sounds pretty sweet, might be my first Rebels purchase!

In the mail we got they say that the list we posted (set names, numbers and minifigs) is confidential information.

And yes, the info is all over the web....here, Brickset, etc.

I have asked if they can explain why we had to delete the list...hopefully they'll reply.
