I'm realy hyped for Yoda's hut and the UCS model.??

I wonder what the UCS model will be?

Not sure about the desert skiff - the last one wasn't that good but that was ages ago...

We'll just have to wait and see!

The lego fan.

How is Yoda's Hut still up there? Why has that not been removed from the list!? Why is writing "false rumour" underneath it a better solution!?

Anyone wondering why the prelim image for the Phantom appears to be the complete finished set (made apparent by the sticker details and the fact that Kanan's new head mold is visible and printed) with just a watermark slapped on top, whilst all the others are clearly placeholders? Just found that odd...also we don't have a rumoured UK price for the Phantom yet do we?

Also, when was it that the original leaks for the 2016 January wave (in terms of product images prematurely leaked, not prelims), started to show up? Just so I have an idea of when to keep an eye out...

90% sure it was the 11th of October.

Correct, as seen here:

Interestingly, those pictures (final quality) included the Resistance Transport and the exclusive Spider Droid, but not the Ep. 7 battle packs and Battle on Takodana.

Anyway, compared to the last years, we are somewhat behind schedule. We'd usually have some pictures that aren't prelim by now.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to film to have RotJ versions?

Yes, but in the last Skiff set, it was still the ESB version of Fett.  I hope they stick with it.

Yep, but Lego has been getting tighter with their security recently.

I just hope for a fully detailed Boba Fett.  They have a highly detailed version of him from the Slave I set, and since this is likely to be ESB and not ROTJ, I hope they go with that version.  Of course, a comparably detailed ROTJ version would be preferred, but it has been said that this is not a new figure.

Sorry, I didn't spot that " false rumour " bit- it hasn't been taken down yet!

Lego would prefer to keep the detailed Boba with the UCS Slave I, as an incentive for people to pick up the UCS set and to 'reward' those who own it. I like it this way. Keep the better version of a minifig to an expensive set, but release the regular version in cheap sets for wider access to the general public, especially kids.

This practice is needlessly restrictive.  Everyone should have access to the same level of quality.

I'm curious, for those that have seen images, which Boba Fett is pictured?

Image is blurry, but he looks exactly the same as Carbon Freezing Chamber Boba.

The quality is still the same. The embellished detail is different.

Of course I'm talking about the overall quality of the minifigure, of which level of detail is a factor.

That's a shame, I'm hoping that's just a preliminary image.

That would diminish the value and exclusiveness for UCS sets in the minds of many. It's not like the other versions of minifigs aren't still nice, they just aren't quite as detailed.

The best things always cost more.  This has been true since forever.

Box art looks final, image is just blurry. So I'm 90%sure they'll reuse 2016 Boba minifigure.

There's no restriction, anyone who wants to can buy this.  Better versions of products always cost more, seems childish to complain.

Whats wrong with the ROTJ ver?

The only major difference is the gauntlets, and slightly lighter grey

The biggest difference is the jetpack:

Agreed. I really don't see how different a Lego version of the ROTJ version would be to the Lego version of the ESB version. Different design / colour of gauntlet and maybe a different colour of cape but that's about it.

The UCS Slave 1 had very accurate gauntlets to that ESB image so I'd be happy for the ROTJ as a variant if we were getting arm printing.

Maybe if we were talking about an 18" Hot Toys model then differences would be more noticeable.

Disappointed that the Carbon Freezing Chamber version of Boba Fett will be in the Desert Skiff.

In my opinion, if you've made a highly detailed version of the character, use that for all future releases of that character (until an even more highly detailed version is released).

Did anyone really expect Boba with arm printing in the skiff set? From the screenshot I have, they're just using the carbon freezing chamber Boba. The only way to make the slave one desirable, is to have the detailed Boba and to keep him there as an exclusive. Nothing surprising at all.

Well I completely disagree that Boba Fett is the only way to make the Slave I desirable, as it is a beautifully rendered set in its own right.  But no, I didn't expect that Boba Fett in the Skiff Set.  I expected LEGO to skimp, as they did.  I just hoped for better from them.

Sadly I don't expect arm printing in star wars sets except in UCS, or hard to get polybags. It's an irritating policy from TLG given the quality of figures in other themes. That said, the sets themselves are the big draw for me, the minifigs are a bonus, but it'd be nice if they were a bigger bonus!

Am I the only one who really isn't fussed by arm printing. I only really think it to be good when absolutely necessary (latest spider-man, for example), and I'm sort of indifferent with it on less needed figures, case, Boba Fett and 3PO.
