Almost undoubtedly I'd say. We seem to be getting new waves of pictures for Winter sets daily now, I'd be very surprised if LEGO don't crank out the SW pics by this time next week.

We still have Marvel Super Heroes' pictures to get, so a couple days more at the very least (assuming we get Star Wars last).

Anyone else starting to get a little frustrated with TLG? I'm really anxious for these pics. If they're holding back for rogue one spoilers, at least show us the other sets.

I think frustrated was the wrong word. I'm more annoyed that they are releasing images of almost every other theme daily but leaving out Star Wars. I felt like this back in July during comic con and Star Wars celebration. For celebration, I was annoyed that they didn't wide release the trailer but I won't get into that because it's not LEGO. But they had a whole panel for LEGO Star Wars, which would've been the perfect time to show off the rogue one sets, but they were too secretive as usual. They showed the summer sets at a toy fair in February that came out in June. They didn't show them at comic con either. The sets don't even reveal any spoilers. Sorry for the rant.

LEGO isn't releasing anything, someone got the pictures and is posting them on a site without LEGO's consent

This is a huge thing that a lot of people somehow missed - just because the images themselves are high-resolution, and technically "official" does not mean that they were released in an official manner. They're still leaks, and this exact same thing has happened every year in recent memory without fail. Also, there's the fact that some of these sets are releasing much sooner than the SW wave, such as the LEGO Batman Movie sets.

I never saw an official release of the new death star, mainly just hi res pictures of the oficial TLG but not even on Facebook or social media did I see anything related to it, so who knows, maybe they know too much, at this point looking at pictures is torture mainly because it's like meh, hey Three more months before release date so.

This is not LEGO. These are people we know who got the pictures somehow, that Death Star was an official announcement. This is not. These are leaks.

Some of the Batman sets are out right now, J2G reviewed the Mr. Freeze mech on his channel today.

 

I'm confused why all of the pictures for each theme didn't show up at once, but leakers like to draw things out. I wouldn't expect Star Wars stuff for another week unfortunately.

I don't believe that most leakers "draw things out" on purpose - they release whatever they get, when they get it.

We're not entitled to these images. By right, we're supposed to see them only when Lego releases them on its website, not via Hoth Bricks or other fan sites. Be patient! We'll see them soon enough.

I'm aware of that, but some leakers in the past have admitted that they post pics day by day even though they have them all. Not dropping any names.

I think you've got to consider that the fact that this happens every year without fail has got to mean that Lego is fully aware that it will happen. They cant possibly think that the images wont leak, they're fully aware that as soon as those pictures exist, they'll leak. So either they're just adamantly not acknowledging leaking, they're thicker than humanly possible, or they take leaking into account. Lego may not have released them in an official manner, but they knew perfectly well they'd get released.
