3)Because we already have 18 guaranteed-to-be Winter sets, and 5 sets in Summer would mirror 2015. Granted, I'd be more than happy to get 23 sets and more stuff in Summer, but not even G1 got waves as huge like this.

Ninja'd pretty much.

Slight correction: 12 guaranteed-to-be-winter sets. Five Toa, five creatures, one set with both a Toa and a creature, and a villain. This is actually one short of the January 2015 total of 13 sets (six Protectors, six Toa, and a villain) — however, it's probably safe to assume the Kopaka and Melum Unity Set will be larger than any of this year's January sets, so the total number of sets might have been reduced in accordance.

It's certainly possible we might have more January sets next year than this year, but there are three main reasons that people suspect these latest five sets discovered to be summer sets. First of all, it would mirror this year's release pattern, as Shakar and Dorek said (twelve new sets to replace last year's winter sets, then five new sets to replace this year's summer sets). Second, a lot of people are skeptical of a new Ekimu the Mask Maker set being released less than six months after Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder. And third, a lot of people are skeptical about two sets named Umarak being released as part of the exact same wave. It's not like either of these last two scenarios would be unprecedented, but the latest five sets discovered being summer sets certainly seems more likely.

I'm betting the Beasts are all 15$ sets and Ekimu maybe having a 20$ price tag and Umarak the Destroyer a 30$ dollar set. And if Umarak is the only character in his set unlike Mask Maker vs Skull Grinder then I think they could be making a proper titan I think.

No, 18. It might be forbidden to discuss them, but there will still be Star Wars constraction sets in January.

Oh, okay. I thought Shakar was talking specifically about Bionicle, not about constraction in general.

*facepalm* I ended up writing the total number of 2015 sets instead of the Winter wave alone. Still, 17 sets is a bit too much, especially since we're getting the 6 The Force Awakens figures in December/January. 18 constraction sets in one season is huge already as it is.

Ekimu comes before the Beasts though, so he's either their size or smaller. I'm betting on him being 15 Euro and the Beasts 20, while Umarak is 30. Slightly more expensive than Summer 2015 (90 Euro vs 105 Euro), but still within the realm of possibilities.

Fair point, but I would say LoSS was added at the end to not break the list of Toa sets. Pretty sure it's the only time they broke the rule like that and I don't see any reason to do it again.

Hero Factory 2013 also did, but its numbering was non-linear, so I'm not sure it counts. Regardless, you have a good point.

So, finally looking at the two SW figures somebody posted on reddit and uhh, well, they're pretty damn nice looking. The Grievous(not sure if I spelled that correctly) build is giving me Witch Doctor syndrome with that CCBS/Technic mix. I'm hoping I can say the same with a set or two(grr or more! XD) of Bionicle next year. *sigh* Could probably incorporate a sick function or two at those sizes. Mm.

Ok honestly, even if the first wave had that many sets..why would Kopaka be released in the summer along with Melum? I'm pretty sure they'd make a bigger set in the winter wave (if not the biggest). Unless there's some change to the story, I'm pretty sure he'll be included in the winter wave..or hope that he is included.

I have seen no one claim that Kopaka and Melum are a summer set. The set name was discovered after the rest of the winter set names, sure, but it only makes sense that he is included with them. The (possibly) summer sets only popped up recently, weeks after the group that included Kopaka and Melum was discovered.

I don't think anyone explicitly claimed that Kopaka was going to be released in the summer, but I've read suggestions that he might be. I'm just debating those suggestions. I'm mainly hoping for images soon.

If Kopaka would be included in the summer wave his set number due to it's high prize would be before/after Umarak the destroyer. Not before Ekimu as it stands now.

That's assuming everyone into constraction will buy the Star Wars sets which isn't true at all. Some will only buy BIONICLE, and using the Star Wars sets as justification not to give BIONICLE more sets is just wrong. That's like deciding to shorten the amount of sets Ninjago gets because there are other system sets. Different themes attract different customers and no customer should have to suffer a smaller amount of sets just because there is another theme using similar parts. Your wallet should not dictate what others can and cannot get. :P Edited by Tarvaxx

Kopaka is definitely in the winter wave as he showed up on that original winter set list.

As others have said, seems more likely that Kopaka and Melum will probably be in the Winter Wave with the other Toa and Creatures. If he's a popular Toa they'd likely want to advertise him alongside the rest of the Toa, not push him back to a spring or summer release. He was also found shortly after the Amazon Winter name leak - which implies he will have a release occuring fairly soon - either directly with the Winter Wave or slightly after, but definitely around the Winter Wave of release.

Grievous seems mostly CCBS to me, lots of CCBS bones. Vader is more along the lines of a mix of technic and CCBS. Though chances are if we get a Bionicle titan set it would indeed be more like Grievous to limit the piece count.

71312-71316 now display as "Page not Found" when you try to go to the pages. Curious... Lego probably caught on and took them down.

As they take down more, I find new ones! They keep actively updating them, too, like names and stuff.

Care to elaborate? Maybe even share some findings.

Found some potential summer Friends, a few extra Nexo Knights, next few Expert sets (no final names) and the "final" title of the Marble Ideas set.

As long as it's not a Stormer XL...
