For those suggesting figs based on the DC Comics TV shows (Flash, Arrow, Gotham etc) I suspect those might be a bit darker and less kid-appropriate than the comics and movies that the DC stuff we got so far in Dimensions is based on.

Beetlejuice is a 15, so hardly kid friendly either - yet it is being included in the game. There's literally no reason why those shows couldn't be included.

Really, maybe except for Gotham, which isn't even in the Arrowverse, the CW shows are about as dark as Doctor Who and Harry Potter.

A Greek mythology world and starter pack would be fun.  It does not need any licensing as long as you do not base it off of a franchise such as Clash of the Titans, Percy Jackson, etc.  I could see using the Medusa minifig that was released before as a playable character.  Of course, her attack would be to turn an enemy to stone with one hit and then shatter them with the next.   You could pair her up with a hero such as Achilles or Hercules in a Team Pack.  The adventure world could have endless possibilities with Mt. Olympus, the sea, the underworld,  The restorations could be amazing with temples, creature lairs, and other structures.

good luck with that one (they did Mr smithers, but this one would just be a little hard of lego to do).

You would think that, but lego has done some other things that I personally think would be inappropriate for kids 12 and younger like: simpsons, doctor who, beetle juice, ghostbusters (the new and old), and back to the future. But the flash isn't that dark of a show really, and lego already did the arrow dlc for batman 3, so I think that they could very well possibly happen.

Doctor Who is definitely appropriate for 12 and under. It's a family drama.

Personally, I think it's a little gory, scary, and dark for a 12 year old. And I would not let my twelve year old watch it. My personal preference.

Many do though. It has always been a family drama, at least here in the UK. It used to be on at 5:15pm during the classic series and a few modern day Christmas Specials have also aired in that time slot.

Now having had Lego Dimensions for month, my hope is that if they do decide to add character packs for existing worlds, especially those like DC Comics Characters, my hope is that they expand the opportunities to get gold bricks in the respective worlds.  My boys and I are completionists and we like to upgrade all of the vehicles and stuff that comes with the characters.  As it stands, each world has a maximum capability of producing 20-30 gold bricks.  That means that a world has the capability to upgrade two to three gadgets or vehicles to the third form.  This is based on the fact it takes three gold bricks to get to the second form and another seven to reach the third form.  Of course, the storylines, Mystery Dimension, etc. will help with getting some additional gold bricks, but if you keep adding characters and new vehicles to already existing worlds, then the chance of running out of gold bricks goes up.  Also realize that a lot of the already limited gold bricks are not attainable until you have bought some key characters from unrelated worlds of which you might not have an interest in (looking at you Chima).  Hire a Hero can help in some situations, but in others, it often takes us more than 30 seconds to figure out how to get to it or the character has to do too much to achieve the objective in that time.

In DC Comics, you have Batman w/ Batmobile, Joker with Helicopter, Harley with vehicle, Superman with vehicle, Aquaman with vehicle, Wonder Woman with jet, and Cyborg with mech.  It would take 70 gold bricks to upgrade the gear, and currently DC Comics World has a max of around 28 gold bricks if I remember.  That means you have to find excess bricks in other worlds (assuming you even had access to all 28 bricks on the level).  Now, imagine adding even more DC characters!  You would really have to pick and choose carefully what you want to upgrade.

Well, right now my #1 wish for LEGO Dimensions would be for the game to continue.

Going beyond that to specific franchises, I’ll reiterate what I said earlier with wishes for Adventurers, Elves, Alien, Buckaroo Banzai, Indiana Jones, My Little Pony, Star Trek, and Star Wars (though I’d add way more packs for Star Trek in particular; also the pack descriptions would change a bit, since Year 2 made Story Packs a thing, and some of my specific pack wishes would change a bit based on that).

A few more I’d like to have seen:

Babylon 5

Big Trouble in Little China

Bionicle

The Dark Crystal

Forbidden Planet

Labyrinth

LEGO Universe

Marvel

Mixels

Monster Fighters

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

The Neverending Story

Power Miners

Toy Story

Willow

Wreck-it Ralph

There, that ought to do it. :D

I wish LEGO Dimensions would get a 100% digital port for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and Steam without the need for a physical toypad.

I'd call it LEGO Dimensions Deluxe!

Both Years 1 and 2 can return in addition to new playable characters, new character side-quests, new gold brick missions, and a new story mode that was never made for Year 2. Characters would have to be unlocked by completing Story Mode Levels.

Also, they could add a Year 3 with new Adventure Worlds! Here's my wishlist.

  1. Minecraft
  2. Overwatch
  3. Nexo Knights (Even though the theme has since been discontinued, Nexo Knights deserved to be in LEGO Dimensions.)
  4. Looney Tunes
  5. Courage the Cowardly Dog (Series creator John Dilworth hinted at making a new Courage TV series for Boomerang SVOD. Just ask Dilly himself.)
  6. SpongeBob SquarePants (LEGO definitely needs that license back!)
  7. Steven Universe (McFarlane Toys hasn't released any new SU construction sets, so their license is presumed to have been expired)
  8. Ben 10 (I'd personally love to see LEGO Ben 10 make a comeback.)

And more I can't even think of!

What do you guys think of my idea?
