Tariq j Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Obviously this wouldn't happen... at least for now, but Indiana Jones Level pack with the Truck and Ark Of the Covenant would be good. And maybe Vogel and the tank... Henry Jones SNr and a Zeppelin. Quote

SpiderSpaceman Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) I don't know if I said yet, I know they like to stick to stuff they can do a whole freeplay world for, but I think these franchises could make a good combo freeplay world: Terminator: T800 (2-sided face: sunglasses/torn face) + Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton T2 version) Aliens: Alien (Aliens-style) + Ellen Ripley Predator: Predator (1st appearance) Judge Dredd: Judge Joseph Dredd (comics-style) 3 playable heroes, 3 playable creeps, late '80s soundtrack. RAKRONDEWL Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 (edited) I don't actially have the game, but I have bought some of the fun packs. That said, here is list of characters I would like to see in the game (and if they did make them, I might consider getting the game). 1. Sauron - Having the lord of the rings himself as a playable character would be, for a lack of better words, awesome. I could see him having the big transformation ability, spinjitzu (as demonstrated in the boss fight in the level Painting the Town Black, and the mind control ability. As a "vehicle", I could see the tower of Barad-Dur gliding along on its lava moat and when mounted the eye used to burn through gold and it illuminates dark areas with the eye. 2. The Witch-King - He would probably have the sonar smash ability, tracking ability, and the super strength ability (or the grapple ability with his giant flail). As his "vehicle", he would have a Fell Beast that when mounted can use the flight ability. 3. Faramir - He would have the target ability, tracking ability, and finally the stealth ability. His "vehicle" would be? 4. Eowyn - She would have the pole vault, invulnerability, and acrobatics abilities. Her "vehicle" would be? 5. Lord Vortech - He would have the big transformation, invulnerability, and relic detection abilities. His "vehicle" would be floating 4x4 green plate that can regenerate health and has the special attack ability. These are just some of the characters from the current licenses I would like to see. So if LEGO makes some of these, I may consider buying the game. Not having the game, I don't really know how reasonable the power selections I made are. Edited June 2, 2016 by RAKRONDEWL Quote

Cool ideas, not much of a LotR fan though so personally I would like Green Lantern and Flash to round out the JL. Green Lantern could have a jet construct and Flash his time travelling cosmic treadmill, also maybe Lex with his mech and Zod with his drop ship. If infinity fell because they were adding select characters/themes to dimensions I'd like Luke with an x-wing, Vader with his Tie and Han with the falcon. I would like Marvel characters but there aren't a lot of vechiles for them Quote

However don't worry, my older sister is, so I do have a pretty good idea what you are talking about. I could see Green Lantern flying around and his vehicle shape shifting into whatever he needs, in this game. Making the Flash able to use the vehicle treadmills without a vehicle could also be interesting. Lex Luthor is a little less known to me, as is General Zod (meaning I don't have much knowledge about the characters, not that I don't know who they are). A fellow student, who is an employee of ToysRUs, told me that Disney Infinity was only going to put out a few more characters and then be done at the end of the year. This doesn't guarantee we will get any Disney content as the game is made by T&T games and WB (if I am not mistaken). If by chance we do get some Disney content, I would like to see Star Wars as well. As far as marvel vehicles go, I think there might be more to work with than there is for DC; almost every Marvel Lego set has a vehicle. I would like to see more playable villains in the game, as odd as that may sound. I mean you are constantly breaking things anyways. Edited June 2, 2016 by RAKRONDEWL Quote

Lyichir Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Hm, I think there used to be another wishlist topic. But since I haven't posted in this one yet, I may as well post here. The main thing I'd like to see out of Dimensions is more of Lego's original themes, rather than just licenses. But there are a few licensed themes I wouldn't mind being added as well. Nexo Knights is a natural fit for Dimensions, with a large number of characters each with their own unique vehicles. At the very least, it'd be easy enough to do figures for the main characters: Clay and his Rumble Blade, Macy and her Thunder Mace, Aaron and his Aero-Striker, Lance and his Mecha Horse, and Axl and his Tower Carrier. Other possibilities for sets include Jestro and his Evil Mobile and Robin and his Black Knight Mech. Elves would be a great addition as well, if mini-doll themes were an option. Potential packs include Emily and the Queen Dragon, Naida and her Adventure Ship, Aira and her Pegasus Sleigh. Farran and Azari have not had vehicles yet but have had dragons—but I don't know if that'd be dragon overload. City might seem like an odd choice as it isn't a story theme, but it is one of Lego's most successful themes. Additionally, one of the few forms of story media it has had was the game Lego City: Undercover, also created by TT Games. I would love to see a follow-up to that game in Dimensions, with packs such as Chase McCain and one of his police vehicles and maybe even Rex Fury and one of his distinctive vehicles from the game. Friends is another unique choice, but again, one of Lego's most successful original themes. Unlike City, it regularly has distinct characters, and the biggest hurdle in its case would be getting around the general lack of combat. Still, it's possible that some creative solutions could be employed—characters could perhaps attack with music or other oddball combat methods. Possible packs for this theme would include Olivia and her Exploration Car, Stephanie and her Cool Convertible, Andrea and her Hot-Air Balloon, Mia and her Roadster, Emma and her Sports Car, and Livi and her Tour Bus. I would love to see Bionicle included at some point, preferably with the voice cast from the Netflix series. Tahu, Kopaka, Onua, Lewa, Pohatu, and Gali would all make great character additions with plenty of distinct powers, and would allow for minifigure versions of the characters (possibly similar to the mini-heroes from the last year of Hero Factory). A complicating factor would be the lack of any vehicles in the rebooted theme so far, meaning that they would have to get creative with that aspect if the figures were to be released in normal packs (the introduction of packs like Green Arrow and Supergirl that lack vehicles could also make this theme more feasible) In terms of licenses, the sky is the limit. One theme I'd like to see return for Dimensions is Avatar: The Last Airbender, along with The Legend of Korra. That theme never did get its fair shake, and Dimensions would be the perfect vehicle for an update. A few pack ideas include Aang and Appa, Zuko and a Fire Nation Ship, Korra and Naga, and Asami and her Roadster. But there are plenty of other possibilities from both shows, including characters like Katara, Sokka, Toph, Mako, and Bolin. Another neat licensed theme idea is Steven Universe, which has the benefit of being a more current show. The obvious pack for that would be Steven and Greg's Van. The Crystal Gems are harder to come up with ideas for, since they don't frequently use vehicles, but Pearl could at least use her Pearlbot, and it wouldn't necessarily be impossible to come up with vehicles for Amethyst and Garnet. There are plenty of other possibilities, but these ones make up the top of my list. I'll be very interested to see what's in store for the game in the future! Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Doctor Who 1. Missy - this is one NFC minifigure where I'd be hugely disappointed if they didn't do it. As one of the Doctor's most iconic arch enemies, Missy simply needs to be a playable character in LEGO Dimensions. I would like her to have the ability to regenerate into the other TV incarnations of the Master: Roger Degaldo, Peter Pratt/Geoffrey Beevers, Anthony Ainley, Eric Roberts, Derek Jacobi and John Simm. Gordon Tipple can be skipped given he was barely in the TV Movie and you can't really see him properly due to the lighting and props: Missy could come with her Device, which could operate similar to the Master's Tissue Compression Eliminator (they've never confirmed if it's the same or a different device but it could probably pass as an updated version of the TCE despite it having not shrunk anyone to death yet). Maybe sometimes it could vapourise people and others compress their body to death. She should come in a fun pack with a buildable version of the Master's TARDIS disguised as a grandfather clock (as seen in The Keeper of Traken). 2. Clara - I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet. Her ability as well as being able to jump higher than male minifigures could be that each time she dies, she comes back as another version of Clara with Oswin and Victorian Clara being playable as well as the main Clara. The vehicle would probably be her motorbike seen in Day of the Doctor and The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar. 3. Sontaran - There's a rumour that Strax could be released for the game. That would be enough for me. I'd imagine a Sontaran to come with a Sontaran Pod. If Strax, maybe in a team pack. His abilities probably would be targeting targets with a Sontaran blaster and destroying silver LEGO objects with a grenade. 4. Silurian - As one of the show's most iconic alien species, I hope they do a Silurian at some point - either a unnamed member of the race or Madam Vastra. They could come with one of their guns from The Stolen Earth/Cold Blood that can be used for targets and even though the new series Silurians don't have one, maybe you could choose to play as the classic look and use the third eye for the mind control ability. Maybe you could build a dinosaur to go with it. If it were to be Madam Vastra, she would have a sword and come with a buildable horse and carriage. 5. Zygon - Given that they have been on the series twice as of recent, it would seem weird not to do the Zygons as an NFC minifigure. Their ability could be to take on the form of other minifigures. When they die, they reveal their true form before breaking into minifigure pieces. The Skarasen would be their buildable vehicle. 6. Ice Warrior - Simply has to be done because they have the LEGO hands (well, they did in their classic series look). It could carry a sonic disruptor as in the Big Finish audio The Prisoner of Peladon, so basically the same abilities as the Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. The buildable vehicle could be the Ice Warrior ship from Cold War. 7. Captain Jack Harkness - This one's probably inevitable given how popular Jack is. He could come with a gun that he can shoot targets with and immortality. His buildable vehicle should be Jack's ship from The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances. 8. Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart - It would be so much fun to play as the Brigadier. He would carry a gun to shoot targets and come with a UNIT Jeep to build. Harry Potter 1. Harry Potter - If the rumoured Harry Potter line for LEGO Dimensions happens, I imagine Harry Potter is probably a certainty. Obviously he would come with a wand for magic ability akin to Gandalf's and likely carry the same broom as the Wicked Witch's. Ideally this would be a level pack. Harry would therefore probably come with a buildable Hedwig and Hogwarts Express train. 2. Ron Weasley - You can't have Harry without Ron. I think it would be quite fun if Ron came with his broken wand from Chamber of Secrets. His vehicle would probably be the flying Ford Anglia from the same film. 3. Hermione Granger - Equally, you can't have Harry and Ron without Hermione. Unlike Ron's, her wand would have to be in perfect condition. She should probably carry a book too. Hermione could come with a buildable Crookshanks. 4. Professor Dumbledore - Dumbledore is awesome and I would be disappointed if we weren't to get him. Alongside his wand, he could have his deluminator. Fawkes would have to be the buildable vehicle/gadget here. 5. Hagrid - A favourite character of mine. He'd have to come with his pink umbrella wand and maybe a buildable Buckbeak. 6. Lord Voldemort - Who wouldn't want to play as Voldemort? Obviously he'd have a wand and both he and Harry should possess the Parselmouth ability to communicate with snakes but unlike Harry the ability to fly without a broom (Deathly Hallows). He would probably come with a buildable version of Nagini. The Simpsons 1. Lisa Simpson - I'm baffled this hasn't been done yet given she is part of the Simpsons family. She would have to be carrying her saxophone, which should give her the ability to play a tune to distract enemies, allowing for player two to fight them whilst they dance. She could come with a buildable version of her horse from Lisa's Pony. 2. Marge Simpson - Another one that I'm surprised hasn't been done. She could come with Maggie, with 'her' ability consisting of placing Maggie down in front of small hatches only small characters can fit in. The player then would control Maggie to claim the yellow brick. Marge could come with a buildable version of the Canyonero from 'Marge Simpson in: Screaming Yellow Honkers'. 3. Sideshow Bob - This would be a fun character to place on the pad next to Bart Simpson. He would come with a knife that can be thrown at targets and a buildable rake. 4. Moe Szyslak - Playing as Moe would be awesome. I'd have Moe carry a gun for targeting LEGO targets with and a buildable version of the pub counter. 5. Mr Burns - Mr Burns is another one I'm surprised hasn't happened as of yet. He could have the ability to hack into control panels, seeing as he controls Springfield's power in The Simpsons as the owner of the Power Plant. I'd have one of his hounds as buildable. 6. Professor Frink - I don't know anyone who doesn't like Professor Frink. He could have the same abilities beside regenerate and Sonic Screwdriver as the Doctor and come with a buildable take on his hover car from The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Ghostbusters 1. Jillian Holtzmann - She looks like a fun character from the upcoming 2016 Ghostbusters Reboot, so could be a great character to play as in LEGO Dimensions. She should have a level pack and come with a buildable version of the reboot's take on the Ghost Trap and Ecto-1. I'm guessing she'd allow you to play as Abby, Erin and Patty too. Obviously Jillian would have the Ghost-busting ability. 2. Kevin - Also looks fun. Whilst not one of the Ghostbusters, judging by the trailer it looks as though he may take the role on later into the film so I'd have him with Ghostbusting abilities and a buildable Ecto-2 motorbike. 3. Rowan's Ghost - Pretty much appears to be this Reboot's Stay Puft, so should possess the same powers as him. In terms of the build, it depends on what's in the movie but otherwise they could make it up as with Slimer. Maybe some sort of bomb-type device to cause more disruption. Jurassic Park/World 1. Ian Malcolm - Preferably as a level pack. Ian should be able to throw flares at targets and is very intelligent so could possess the same abilities minus regeneration and Sonic Screwdriver as the Doctor. Ian should come with a buildable Jurassic Park jeep and buildable T-Rex. 2. Claire Dearing - Another one I'm surprised hasn't been done. She'd have the same abilities as Ian Malcolm, whilst also being able to jump higher than male characters. I'd have her come with a buildable Jurassic World helicopter. 3. John Hammond - I feel he'd be such an awesome playable character to play as. Same abilities as Ian but also with a buildable Jurassic Park helicopter. 4. Alan Grant - Same abilities as in the videogame but with a buildable T-Rex skeleton. The Flintstones 1. Fred Flintstone - This would be great just to be able to have Fred and Homer meet. I'd like a level pack based on the episode The Babysitters. Fred would come with a bowling ball he can use for the 'Drone' ability, as well as buildable versions of Dino and the iconic Flintstones car. 2. Barney Rubble - Should be a fun pack and come with a buildable version of Barney's car. He'd have the same abilities as Fred. Quote

Blondie-Wan Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 (edited) Hm, I think there used to be another wishlist topic. There is indeed, right here. I had to scroll down to the bottom of this page to find it. Here's what I posted in that one: Things that could actually happen: I can't really improve on EZN's suggestion here. kevkipo Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Since i don't have the game, (I find the concept interesting) if any of these makes it into the game, i'll buy it. With LOTR in it and Harry Potter coming soon, there are loads of possibilities. Lotr: - Faramir, The Hobbit: (Most character models are already there, so adding these would be easy) - Thorin, Sword and Axe, (Battle of the Five Armies variant) buildable vehicle would be a Battle Ram - Dain, Axe / Battle Hammer, (Level Pack, would be a great finishing level for The Hobbit game), buildable vehicle his Boar, and Ballista - Bard, Sword and Bow, Buildable boat or Windlance Again this would be a great finishing chapter for the The Hobbit game, since the story wasn't finished. Harry Potter: - Sirius, Fantastic Beasts: - Newt, With suitcase and wand, buildable Dragon vehicle (Phoenix?) Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Wow these are all awesome ideas, I'd buy all the DW and HP ones (be a lot poorer for it but still...) Thanks. I'm really hoping they make a big deal with Harry Potter in Dimensions. Harry Potter: - Sirius, He'd certainly be a fun Harry Potter character to play as. There's a lot of memorable characters in Harry Potter actually so it would be interesting to see which ones they'd choose for the game. Quote
Tariq j Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Indiana Jones: Indiana Jones, Professor Henry Jones, Marion, Toht, Sallah, Walter Donovan, Elsa and Irina Spalko. Hopefully we can get the Tank, Mercedes truck, possibly even the Ark of the Covenant. James Bond: Okay, I know this isn't "appropriate" as such, but even just one level pack, with James Bond and the Aston Martin DB5 would be enough. Robocop (Sequel): Robocop with his motorcycle would be good enough for me. Quote

Kintobor Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I don't see what's not appropriate about James Bond. There's a character in Goldfinger called Pussy Galore. It's not because she owns a bunch of cats. I think that answers your question. As for licenses that haven't been milked, since Dimensions is on a serious 80's and 90's nostalgia trip, why not throw Sailor Moon into the game? The franchise is recognizable, relevant, and has lots of appeal, even twenty years after it's initially airing. The only thing the game needs is Sailor Moon herself as the figure, and like with Ghostbusters and Dr. Who, perhaps you can filter through each sailor scout using Sailor Moon's figure. Quote

ZootyCutie Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I've yet to own the game, but there are a few series that are really "wants" for me: Mixels Considering all the other LEGO-originators coming in, I'd love Mixels. Flain would be the obvious choice, with maybe Seismo or Volectro as well. Vehicles are the tricky one (unless you go with a Nixel one), and Cubits or the Bonflower defense stations from Calling All Mixels could make for good weapons. Wacky Races I mean, considering the Hanna-Barbera stuff in it already, it's set for a new series apparently, and there's that gritty comic already, it seems obvious. Vehicles are obvious there, too. Character-wise, either Dick Dastardly and Muttley, or Penelope Pitstop, would be the best choices...weapons are a bit limited in options, though. Yellow Submarine Yes, this is coming straight from the announcement of the LEGO Ideas set...but I'm a sucker for Beatles, especially this movie. Character could be really any of the Beatles or Jeremy (Ringo WOULD be the obvious one, though), the vehicle is obvious, and weapons are a bit limited, unless you go with the Blue Meanie weaponry, too. Tygurah Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 How about Power Rangers? Considering they get a movie next year, seems like a good idea to me. We could get a Green Ranger fun pack with dragonzord or something. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Pokemon, I think that'd be hilarious to see in dimensions... Ash and pikachu team pack Casper, this would work great with Ghostbusters. Casper level pack Terminator, this would be awesome to see in Lego. Terminator fun pack Dumb and dumber, this would be hilarious to see and would make for a great team pack. Dumb and dumber team pack Dexter's laboratory, would make for a great addition to dimensions. Dexter's laboratory level pack Quote
