Here is the first part of my city complete. The ballista on top of the tower is called goliath and is paired with titan on the other side of the river. These ballista towers are the innermost of the defences heading upstream into the city. Inside each tower are also 4 smaller spear throwing ballista and a chain which can be raised to help block the river to passing vessels.

Behind the tower is part of the dock road which leads from the dock to the inner city.

Please accept this for the military category for avalonia task 4. C and c is always welcome.

Plesee ignore the exposed technic pieces, this where the other sections will link into this one. I currently plan on 9 different sections coming together to make a decent city scene. 8 of the 9 are currently being worked on with one completed (this one)

I also need more editing practice lol

Looks great! I think some vines on the section of strait wall would help give it a more natural look.

Your editing is fine, there is only so much you can fix in photoshop, the problem here is more the images from the camera having been taken a high ISO setting, (judging by the noise). There is a photography index in general discussion here- http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133592

Gideon and I are working on a complete photography tutorial that covers everything from camera choice, tripods, backgrounds and manual camera control, to editing the images in photoshop. It should be finished by the end of the month.

Ta brick curve that would be helpful. I did build a photo area for taking pictures so i would have a white background but its not big enough (underestimated the need for moving the camera about). Im gonna build a newer larger one from the boxes the babies pram comes in. Ill read your tutorial and that'll hopefully clean the images up some more.

Iv not added vines as my character has only just founded the city and is building it as we speak. So i dont want an overgrown look it should look clean and new.

Other sections will have vegetation as the "residents" will have planted them.

Well done, it's magnificent  It looks strong and very well-defended. I love the shaping and texturing of the walls and I think the tiny splashes of sand green and dk flesh work really well.

Ta for the comments folks. Ill try to get something else up soon, if i can manage it before i no longer have the time. By the way pram boxes make brilliant photo areas. Next time my pics should be even clearer.
