Full Plate Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 A bonsai tree, complete with a small table and a shallow pot. This is my entry for Swebrick's 'Build a tree' contest. Hope you like it Quote
BrickCurve Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Amazing! Among the best Bonsai size tree MOCs I have ever seen. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Stunning tree The shaping of the trunk and branches is perfect, and the display base is also top-notch Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 That is one awesome tree! I love how the axes give it textured bark! Quote
Exetrius Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Your trees never cease to amaze me! This one has an especially curvy trunk; it looks magnificent! The small table is really neat as well and the soil has just the right components in the right ratios! Spectacular work! Quote

dr jones Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Am I the only one who finds the use of axes to build a tree rather ironic? It's a beautiful tree, though! Quote
BaneShake Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I need to stop checking all of these builds out; they put mine to shame! Magnificent job! Quote
Dazz Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 That tree is amazing. I would consider it being an artwork. Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Excellent tree as always ! Your trunk building technique using axes is very effective and gives an excellent result ! It's just amazing ! Quote
Gunman Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Your tree making technique is great. The trunks look very beautiful Quote
Staslegomaster Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 An amazing Japanese tree. I guess it would fit a ninjago temple. Rumores are about that after the Tokyo Toy Fair there'll be Earth Temple for Coal - black ninja (as Temple of fire for red ninja, Temple of Light for golden ninja, Temple of Light for golden ninja and Temple of Air for blue ninja. But your bonsai is worth of an exhibition itself. I adore Japanese culture and your criation. Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Pretty darn brilliant. Such detail and masterful building. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Absolutely incredible build. As amazing as the tree is I think the table is my favorite part. Looks like I need to invest in quite a few brown droid arms. Quote
Kalhiki Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Am I the only one who finds the use of axes to build a tree rather ironic? Nope! I was about to say the same! Fantastic job. I wish Lego would produce display pieces like this. I'd love to have a beautifully done Lego Tree on my shelf. Not only do I love the tree, but the table is fantastic as well. Love the curves it has. Iria Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Wow. Great work. That trunk and bark look so complex. The texture and curves are perfect. Quote
Steph 104th Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 This is a phenomenal build. The trunk is the standout to me, the way you made it with all those pieces is breathtaking . Quote
Stelario Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 This tree is sick!! How long it took you to make it? Connecting axes with arms need to take forever. Quote
77ncaachamps Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Simply stunning! Thanks for giving me another idea this summer! Quote
