Quite a nice ship you've got there, radar *y* The masts and sails look very nice on such a thin ship, and the colours are attractive too. Good job :-)

Fat Tony- There's so much I love about your entry. It's so well built and wonderfully creative, but my absolute favorite part is the Mr. Krabs head for the masthead. *y* *y* *y*

Mate's, this is going to be one hard voting i tell ye!

Indeed, it won't be easy with so many fine ships.

I hope that once the contest is over, some of these ships get a dedicated topic in the forum so we can have some detailed discussions.

The latest entry (Fat Tony) certainly deserves one.

Errr... is this a one off ruling? In other words, can I replicate one of this pieces from similar pieces so I can do an entry?

No, I can't. I just looked into it and the slope angle was different to what I expected. I could do one piece similar... but not if I stacked them. I'll have to sit out this one as well it seems. :'-( I'll have to get some of these pieces later as they look to be pretty usefull! *wub* On to the entries!

Captain green hair As always, I love the rigging on this ship. It's stunningly well armed too! :-P

Bonaparte This is my clear favourite. *wub* It's such a great idea, one which I wouldn't have thought would work so well at that scale. The photography is great too!

Matn Cool ship! The handrails are a nice touch.

pietje When I first saw this I thought it was a Fabuland entry! :-D It's very aptly named. X-D

phred ...and I thought Captain green hair's entry was well armed! :-P Are you sure that this wouldn't just keel over when it fires? 8-| Eitherway, this is another extreamly detailed and well rigged little ship. Having the carronades on sliders is a nice touch, and it takes advantage of the hull width. ...Oh... I just noticed that your steering works.... 8-

@AUDI.TW:

Nice entry. Very inspiring! I think I might try something like that myself.

Very impressive to build a ship like this on that hull-type.

I think Hairy Ruben had a similar idea but I haven't seen his entry yet.

No, and you sadly never will. David's been receiving packages of ordered lego and has subsequently been dismantling/demoloshing anything that has useful parts. So bye bye entry :'-(

In any case, I've been working on another project for some time now that I shall unveil soon, I hope. It hasn't got anything to do with sailing ships though. :-/ ;-)

Hey, any chance we can run this contest again sometime soon (Maybe run it from August 1 to September 31)?
