murphy_slaw Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 (edited) Space has always been one of my favorite Lego themes, and I've been a moderate Star Wars fan since I was very small, but I find that I have been avoiding Star Wars Lego sets because I think of most of the vehicles as being combinations of gray, tan, and white. I know that this is accurate to the source material but I would prefer to get more pieces in different colors than add to my giant pile of grayscale and earth tone bricks. What are some good sets that buck that trend? Edited June 6, 2016 by murphy_slaw Quote
slenos Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 7665 is a very good set, if you're looking for currently available 75060 is hard to beat. Quote
Wonderpants Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 UCS Ewok village, naboo starfighter, clone wars Y-wing? Quote
Retro Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 I agree with you! For this very reason I have recently re-assembled my 7930 Bounty Hunter Gunship. I have no interest in the Clone Wars cartoon, but this is a nice green ship (that was inexpensive at the time...) Quote
PickleManDan Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Some of the most colorful sets that I can think of are 7133 (mainly for all the yellow and green elements), 7171 (for the yellow, green, orange, and blue parts), 7283 (because of the yellow, red, and blue pieces), and 75091 (for mainly consisting of green parts). brickmasterben11 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Poe's X-wing, parts of the new Resistance X-wing, and Rey's speeder have good choices fo color like maroon, black, orange, and blue. Quote
