Micro Eastern Palace

The difficult part of this creation was getting the thin columns between the windows and the larger column. I had to turn some panel pieces on their side and create some interesting internals to get the pieces to stay together. To me this build isn't the most exciting but I did have to use some crazy building techniques to get the different setup. Comments on the technique?

Nice one! I think a spire on the main dome would finish it off really nicely.

I quite agree about a spire but I guess you should also add a cressent on the spire. Rumours are about that there'll be an Arabknight mini figure to guard such a palace.

Excellent micro! The use of panels to get small offsets is very clever

Thanks. I started working with the panels to see what options they could provide and ended up building this.

Quite beautiful for being so small. Makes me feel like I'm in a taxi driving through Dubai again! :)

I'm glad that although it is really small it was able to convey that feeling.

I'll see what I can do in the next version.

Hopefully Lego does make a Arab Knight though I worry everyone will beat me to the store and get them first. I'll just have to be faster. :look:

That's a good build !

And using panels to manage with offsets is very clever !

Thanks, the internals turned out interesting as well. Just wait for the next version of this.

Nice build, great use of the panels!

Thanks, they were good inspiration.

This is a very pleasing little build!

Thanks!

I have worked on another version of this and I will post it soon. We'll see which one you all like better.
