Rayduh562 Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I gave it a try. Inspired by Ron I reverse engineered the second Ford in LDD. As you can see, the hub caps are missing. I couldn't find them in LDD. Also, a lot of details are shown with stickers. Sadly, they're not on the LDD model. Without further ado... Comments and critics are welcomed. Meanwhile I'm ordering bricks... Cheers, Tobi Edit: Added another closeup. Was this LDD file ever posted? Quote
Ron Dayes Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 Was this LDD file ever posted? No it was not. Simply because its not as well designed as the Ford GT40 (which really caught all viewers attention and screamed for a replica), i decided to only reverse engineer the classic. However, the 2016 GT is quite a simple fellow and i just found a possible LDD file for it. Cant garantee that this one is absolutely correct, but from the pics it looks very accurate! Cheers Quote
Oliver 79 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 HI guys, I made the Ford GT with a twist! I gave it the 8 wide treatment. Thanks for the LDD file. It was a nice build. My only gripe is the front is a bit flimsy. My modification made it even more flimsy! To me the front looks a little boxy, but I can't find a better solution. Ideas always welcome. Quote
Ron Dayes Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 in my opinion way more accurate in proportions! excellent 8 wide. For the front its going to be hard! every other technique giving it something more angular will only enlengthen the front...i think its fine as it is! Quote
