Not quite. The Speed Racer truck is 8 studs wide, whereas the truck cab here is at least 12 wide, if not more! Edited December 31, 2007 by PaulC

That truck is huge!!

This looks an aweful like Dino Attack and some of LEGO's other dud lines. I thought they had moved past things like this. The fact that the truck looks almost as big as the red Creator one doesn't exactly stand out as a good thing IMO. Maybe kids will like it :-D .

those CITY theme collector might be able to find a way to join up both theme.

But CITY theme is great as it can match a lot of theme.

Anyway, that Agent Truck looks big but i can't see clearly. But i don't like the look of it.

Oh god, after inspection of the new "agent" set, I found a label, which means *Pull-back*, or *Motorized*.Look in the top-left corner of the box. Under the set number. Ugh.

OK lets discuss this so called "theme" in this thread ;-) G I am really trying to be nice here X-D

OK lets try to stay positive: it has loads of playability features (look at all the vehicles !!)

BUT, that truck is oversized and basically from that pic, that theme looks like a city MM - just anothetr waste of time and efforts and money !!

I'm waiting for the smaller sets though: I'm sure they'll have cool details and accessories !!

If there weren't any guns in this, I'd be fine with it. It's definetly meant for the kids, and shouldn't have guns for that. |-/ I think this is the first non-license theme to get guns. :-/

OK so agents is a theme that is the contrary of spie agencies !! Its a non stop shooting range with supped up ultra modern vehicles >:-(

Humm OK lets think for a second: was Alfa Crap successful ? First wave OK and second wave barely made it in France !! Was Jack Stone succesfull as well ?Not so if not it would still exist !!

So why oh why that theme !! We are all up for sweet new nopn license themes but MM and Agents are really pushing the crap far enough !!

I think you're right about the figs but you didn't take it far enough. From this one picture it really looks like Alpha Team part 4. The figs. The Vehicles. Tthe OGEL looking red and black flyer attacking the truck.

Now, being an Alpha Team Fan I'm looking forward to the new sets. But this truck (or at least this really hard to make out preliminary picture of the truck) isn't doing anything for me.

Tohst - now that they recycled AquaZone last year and Alpha Team again this year, next year its Rock Raiders time! Well, except everyone will be sick of drills and digging things from Mars Mission. Hrmm, Adventuers. Not a chance with Indiana Jones. I got it. Time Cruisers!

Maybe we'll get some nice elements, but other than that, it looks like a mismash of police, alpha team and Mars... Hopefully it'll have some nice faces that aren't ruiled by microphones or sunglasses.

The new figs will probably have better jump suits. Also, we really can't see a lot from this pic. With prelim, everything can be subject to change ;-)

It looks like a re-make of Alpha Team if you ask me. That's all it is: Except it's cooler than Alpha team. Remember: Just becasue one set doesn't look good to you, doesn't mean the theme is crap! It could be a great theme! And that's also a preliminary picture, they're still working on it. And no one has mentioned the glare??? That's hiding a lot.

Hm, interesting. Can't say I LOVE what I'm seeing, but since this is just one PRELIMINARY picture, I'll pass on judging it so soon. :-/

BTW, I really don't think that Mars Mission was a waste at all. Seriously, I love it a lot more than Life on Mars, and it has a lot of cool human and alien vehicles. The only realy cons for me were the jelly aliens and the cruddy foam launchers, but it is my opinion, so I know many disagree.

For me, it's Mars Mission ON, and this new theme possibly on; once we see better pictures I'll know. ;-)

Agreed. You said it yourself yoda. lets try and be positve about this.

one thing that i think many fail to realize is that a set like this isn't aimed at the AFOL market. Its aimed at kids. Yoda said it himself, that this set has tons of playbility, whitch is what kids want. Its big, but not tobig like the helicopter in DINO Attack was. If i was 10 years old, this set would defently be on my Xmas list.

I think this is a good step for Lego. Shows a bit of diversity from other lines, whitch i think is good.

I will say i think its abit harsh for some to say this is the worst theme ever. I'm not praising this set since this is just a prelim.pic, and can't see it to well, but from what i can see, it looks preety decent....

Agreed. This set has alot going for. I think this line could be very sucsessful for Lego. But time will tell.

How could we judge the whole theme by one preliminary pic? Plus this particular pic has a huge glare right across the middle. I'd encourage people not to be too quick to judge until we see clear pictures of the whole line.
