Anto Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 (edited) Hi everyone ! This is a MOC I made 2 years ago. It is an artulated tractor. It has 2 RC functions : driving by a XL motor and steering by a M motor. There is a 2 speeds gearbox that you can select manually. The articulation allows the 4 wheels still touch the floor. There is a rear lift to hook tools. The PTO can be able and disable by the lever near the seat. Steering : The rear lift : The PTO : (the driving ring catches the bush. The rotation is done trought the rear differential) I tried to do a good design, with a lot of panels. The hood and the seat are red ; the mudguard are black. There is a lot of details like front and rear headlights, exhaust, switches. This tractor has 3 tools. You can see it in the video. :) Edited June 26, 2016 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
KamalMYafi Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Nice MOC! It would be much better for your topic if you embed the video with just removing the "s" from "https". Quote
lcvisser Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I've been trying to figure out how that PTO driving ring thingy works... but no luck. Nice tractor though I like the attachments you made. Quote
TinkerBrick Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Nice tractor. Looks great.I allowed myself to embedded the video. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Very nice and good looking tractor. This type is always a little odd, but that makes it appealing I guess...haha... ;-) Quote
GroundskeeperWillie Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Well done. We don't often see old cabin-less models as MOCs so I appreciate it. The gear shifting mechanism looks unconventional but clean and effective. Quote
Anto Posted June 26, 2016 Author Posted June 26, 2016 Thanks for your answers ! I like this type of tractors because this is original, uncommon. KamalMYafi : ok for the video, I will know. For the PTO, it is more understandable with this : Not active : Active : Quote
GroundskeeperWillie Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Wow, I never considered that a bushing could be used like that. Pretty sure that's not legal usage but cool nonetheless Quote
GI_Jack Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Very nice model. Well built and interesting to look at. Quote
BusterHaus Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 It's nice to see a build in this scale. It looks pretty good and I like the attachments that go with it. If you want better off road performance, try removing the differentials. Quote
MaxSupercars Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 That Idea with bushing is really great. I also didn't know about that. Thanx. Max Quote
