Speaking of the Flying Fox, now that we've gotten some better looks at the real deal, the complaints about it's Lego counterparts' boxiness aren't really applicable. Even the real thing is a big box.

Man they really messed up on the size. The thing has no interior space, like at all. It is probably 1/10 the size if should be. Being realistic, TLG wouldnt never have been able to make the full scale, but this thing is nearly as big as a helicarrier it seems. And making a helicarries in the size of this set, would be an utter disgrace. I doubt there is even a possible way to make the flying fox near proper scale. Even if you buy two of the sets and connect them, the thing will look way too long. Well you win some, you lose some...

I was not on board with the Flying Fox set at all. Especially with the price of $159.99........ But I really love it. It looks a lot cooler then on any of the sites. And I really like how the Batmobile is inside there. Also I personally love Stephenwolfe! He's my favourite mixel-figure

For anyone in the UK, Asda is selling the build your own adventure book with green lantern for only £8. I wasn't willing to buy it at £20 but £8 seemed much more reasonable!

The Lego model is a little too small, but the flying fox is nowhere near the size of a helicarrier. Clearly wider than the batmobile (behind the league), but barely wide enough to fit the league (minus superman) standing shoulder-to-shoulder.

Haven't seen anyone post this yet, found this book at Costco up here in Canada and it has the Electro Suit Batman from the Visual Dictionary from 2012 if anyone wanted him but missed the chance of doing so.

At the time, I didn't have any real interest in random Batman variants. But then the LEGO Batman Movie happened...

As far as mass-released exclusives go, Electro-Suit Batman, Clark Kent, and Lightning Lad are my three most desperately wanted figures! It's so cool to see one of them get re-released, I just hope it pops up in the US and outside of Costco! I suppose either way it might lower the price on him in the aftermarket, though, so win-win?

If you are looking for Electrosuit Batman, try your local Barnes & Nobles brick and mortar store (if there are any left near you). Mine still has two of the visual dictionaries still on the shelf. 

For Lightning Lad, try ordering the cube online https://www.target.com/p/lego-174-building-gift-set/-/A-49153007.

Amazon still carries both items too.

I can't say for certain that it will work. For a long time, many stores had several of these (dozens sometimes according to brickseek) "in the back." I once asked a manager to get me a few and picked up four more from my local store (12 available at the time) but then returned them because there wasn't much interest. It's nice to see that they are listed on the website, so worth a try.

I've never had any luck with those cubes at my Target, but ordering online definitely seems like the best option, especially for just ten bucks!

To add to this, if you're in the UK then WHSmith also has some in stock (I saw some at the Galleries store in Bristol and the Weston-super-Mare branch).

The book isn't bad, it's not the usual book of fun facts, but actually has a plot. The build is ok for what it is, too.

Guys - am I right in thinking that Superman and Wonder Woman from the Flying Fox set are identical to the ones we got previously in the BvS sets? I haven't compared face prints or anything as don't want to take them out of the frames they are all in so thought I'd check here first with you knowledgeable bunch :)

Yes, they are the same. Just bought the Cyborg and Batman figs from the Flying Fox set as they are the only unique ones.

On a side note, Bricklink has been very slow recently on minifig additions on their database. I usually just look there for reference.

Much appreciated. I can sell those ones then! I picked it up for the figs too. Kept hold of the parademons though so I could display both colours with the two different wing variants (annoyingly, Bricklink seems to have broken them down to individual numbers but I'm assuming they'll change that soon, otherwise things like Hawkman and Space Suit Batman will need the same treatment?).

I usually use Bricklink for reference but as you said, bit slow sometimes!

Agree 100% on the inconsistency of minifig database entries in Bricklink! Separating the type of wings to different minifig numbers is just stupid. Well, what do we expect from a site which allows just any member to add database entries anyway? More troubling is database administrators approve them. Haha!
