I'm VERY happy that we're getting a "Wonder Woman" solo movie Lego set. I just hope that it's "exclusive" nature doesn't make it too difficult for international fans to obtain (but I don't think that has ever been the case with the exception of the convention exclusives which are pretty difficult for anyone to obtain).

I wonder what it will be? Since Lego doesn't like "war", maybe it will be set on Themyscira?

I'm excited to hear news about the JL sets already! That seems to mean that Lego is getting to work fairly in-depth, like BvS, with the source material. And since every part of the BvS sets had something of an equivalence in the film, that gives me high hopes for the JL line.

My guess is that is will be a similar case to the ant man and doctor strange sets. Just one set with the main characters of the movie.

While I'm really not into dropping news much more, I have a little tidbit that was too exciting not to mention.

We will be getting a Wonder Woman movie set in 2017 - albeit an exclusive (like the Doctor Strange set), but it really makes me happy we'll be getting at least one. Almost confident it's minifigure based and under the DC Super Heroes line, but the only facts I know is that it's coming and it's exclusive.

Hell yes!! Glad to see this written in stone! I hope we actually see the movie's big bad in it, unlike the Doctor Strange set. Granted, we still don't know who that is yet, but I know I'm not the only one desperate for a Wonder Woman villain to finally get a figure.

I'd imagine it would be Diana, Steve, and the villain, Steve probably in a biplane of some sort, with a touch of scenery for a fight between Wonder Woman and Mystery Bad Guy.

We're not getting one, not two, but THREE JUSTICE LEAGUE sets next summer ! :laugh:

Three? That's a bit small, but definitely a relief! It's a lot easier to shell out for 3 sets than 5 or 6 of them, especially for characters I want so badly. Cool thing is, with three sets and seven figures we're definitely going to see, it'll be a really nice variety throughout! We might manage to only get two Batman appearances

It's a shame we can't get the Baroness (unless they give us both villains as Marvel generally only has one where DC usually as two), Amazonians, Etta and whatever other characters appear in the movie.

Yeah! I wonder if she'll have a new minifigure or a repeat of her BvS appearance. Since that one is one of my favorites in the entire Super Heroes line, I'll be okay with that if it does happen.

I'm okay with a repeated BvS minifigure since her costume doesn't look much different in the movie. Although I do think her minifigure would look better with black hair instead of dark brown.

I'm certain the setting doesn't have nearly as much to do with it as the two other major DC movies coming next year (The LEGO Batman Movie and Justice League). Marvel's got the same thing going on: too many movies, not enough room for sets, so some get less attention.

This is exciting news. I guess I will wait to pick up BvS version of Wonder Woman and see how different it is to these new sets since we will be getting her a few times. No reason to pay twice. I'm glad they re-use figures at times.

Her costume will be basically the same as BvS, except fairly brighter, since it isn't as battle-worn yet. Whether or not the fig will be updated to reflect this remains to be seen.

If I had to guess, we'll probably be seeing a plane, most likely one Steve Trevor flies when he gets stranded on Themyscira, since Lego has never opposed historical war planes.

Thanks for the info, I do appreciate it. However, I sort of feel that, no matter what you may personally feel about the films, Lego has been short hanging the DCEU. I feel we'll be missing quite a few characters from these sets

Very excited to hear about a Wonder Woman set, for no other reason than after 5 loooooong years, THE ROCK and his millions (and millions) of fans across the world will finally be able to get their hands on a Wonder Woman villain.

I thought he had the 'zook in that set, but I did build it a while back. Since it's in the set, and it looks rather close to him, I think it is him.

I just looked; you are correct. It was the promotional image that had it correct. Sounds like there just wasn't communication to clarify something that insignificant between staff members.
