DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

I think the Mighty Micro line and the DC Super Hero Girls line are the only legitimate DC properties getting sets beside TLBM for early 2017.

 

I am very hyped for the Wonder Woman and Justice League sets. Say what you will about the movies but the character designs [except for the Joker] are top-notch.

For the Wonder Woman set, given the policy TLG has on war vehicles, I think the set would be maybe something on Themyscira or something in the WW1 Battlefield.

I'd hope it would include some Amazonian besides wonder woman.

If we get regular wonder woman in WW set the id hope she would be left out of JL sets in favor of some other figure.

Would be cool to get her in the Themyscira attire.

The Batjet and Harley Quinn DC Super Hero Girls Sets are now available for purchase on Toys R Us's ebay page. 

Highschool now available too.

While I'm sure we won't be getting a hyper-realistic army green WWI tank any time soon, a simple biplane is pretty likely. Lego rarely does locales, and I doubt that a WWI battlefield would be much of a build without a vehicle and ultimately a little more gruesome than a tank. We should probably keep in my mind that these sets usually have some major inaccuracies because of how early the film's development is when they start designing (for instance: Hank Pym in the Ant Man set, Doctor Strange's inaccurate Eye of Agamotto, the very off-base head print for the Ancient One, etc etc) so it's probably based on something we've already seen.

I wouldn't hold your breath for more Amazons, since I'd say the figures are going to be Diana, Steve, and whoever our villain is. 
I think Wonder Woman still needs to be in at least one Justice League set, just for it's own sake.

The set is is most likely not part of the winter wave but summer wave. LEGO released the Batman/Superman versus Lex Luthor this summer. The previous Batman Juniors set was out for over a year.  If it is not part of the winter lineup then you won't see pictures in the forthcoming future.

Which catalog is that? the one I have seen ( http://s7d2.scene7.com/skins//LEGOMKTG/DE_SAH_2016-Holiday_lr[1]pdf ) only has the Lex Luthor set.

The retailer catalog over the summer with the new sets for the next year. It's a thing retailers get, you won't see it often

What happened to the Lego Batman Movie forum? When I refresh it it just says "sorry we could not find that" and when I googled it and followed the link the same thing happened. Does anyone know what happened?

Its a batboat with mr freeze (cant see the final details) and some ice thingy. Priced €14.99

HothBricks have a picture of the Juniors set. Batman has a little Bat-boat, and a very B:TAS-looking Mr. Freeze has a tiny iceberg-themed boat.

Loving the new Mr. Freeze. It combines elements from the classic one from the original Batman line and the more recent one from the Arctic Batman set! We'll now have 5 different Mr. Freeze minifigs. Amazing!

Perhaps. Considering it's a Juniors set, it might be a neat play feature.

FINALLY! A Mr. Freeze head that doesn't look weird or cartoony AND one has the red goggles!  It looks like The Animated Series version, especially with those hands. I'm definitely picking this up now.

I personally think that, to have the Mr. Freeze from the animated series, you'd have to take this one and give him the armor that the one from TLBM has, because I think the "dome" look around the head is pretty iconic. I'm happy nonetheless. Mr. Freeze is one of my favorite Batman rogues, and I've been trying to collect all versions of him!

Edit: Speaking of Mr. Freeze, this popped up on eBay (wrong thread, forgot there's a separate TLBM topic.)
