Is it possible for the Euro prices to be inflated (not German prices)? Because the wave seems way too overpriced. Quote

Borex Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Are those wings on the parademons plastic sheets like the geonosians from star wars? I hope not. Quote

There goes my dreams. Anyone else find these new Superheroes sets are rather overpriced? It's still fairly easy to find it at retail price or even less, I only just got it a few months ago. I just think we should be greatful that it has a Batmobile. 4 minutes ago, Borex said: Are those wings on the parademons plastic sheets like the geonosians from star wars? I hope not. BatofGotham Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Well hopefully we can fit the WHOLE League inside the Flying Fox. A great interior would make up the pricepoint. And they should all fit inside. That thing iin the movie is massive Quote

Hoth Rebel Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 €25 is like 27-28 dollar if you translate those prices. And those are German prices, most countries get a €5 raise on those prices so €30 (32-33$). it's funny to see people from the USA complain about 20 dollar sets (€19) while they are at least $27 if you take the German prices. The superhero sets for this summer are overpriced, but for all we know they have to pay a higher license fee since 01-01-17 or something like that. Quote

zoth33 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 I don't know why everyone is complaining on prices when we don't have piece counts yet and everyone knows licensed sets cost more. There is always a reason for sets to be priced the way they are. The global economy is complex. Look at the big oil companies are always crying they lost money when they profited billions. Instead of 4 billion in profits they made 3 billion. Everything changes the market. I think the sets are fine and the smallest will probably be $20 here in the US and lines up with every other $20 super hero set we have gotten especially with the four figures considering there are new molds etc. This is just turning into a everyone complaining site recently. Right. If we knew the piece count we would know the price. As for everyone complaining? You get used to it. But I think we all end up looking like this guy at one point in our lives or another. But life goes on. LMF Edited May 2, 2017 by LegoMonorailFan Quote

Get over it and use the new parts to build something exciting. I don't think everything is as bad as everyone says lego is after all a kids toy. Quote

I'd frame this quote if I could lol - all I kept thinking over in the Marvel thread when people were mad the Vulture will be bald - I was like... it's Lego - add a hair piece? Makes sense to me when it's like an action figure or something more 'permanent', but half the fun of Lego to me is customizing things to my liking. That said - the Aquaman set is weeeeeaaak. Knightcrawler looks cool, as does Flash, and I'm excited that those two parademons in that set look comic-accurate enough to put with the Darkseid bigfig. Flying Fox is REAL box-y lol, wonder if that's how it looks in the film. Quote

Waiting to be made into something more awesome then the last time. (Or not.) LMF Edited May 2, 2017 by LegoMonorailFan Quote

robertgorman2505 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 I feel like I'm the only person here who actually likes the batmobile in the ff set. Didn't get the bvs one so glad it looks pretty similar but with a big cannon, some small weapons added on and what seems to be a sticker. Hopefully it's possible to bricklink the other half of the cockpit and put it in place of the cannon. Take the weapons off and you have a regular bvs batmobile. I really like it's inclusion, though this is just my opinion and I understand some disagree. Quote

Only the Red Hulk set was overpriced, and that was probably due to the 2 big figs. TLBM sets were good prices except for the Joker's Lowrider and Killer Croc's truck. I think that the angle the Flying Fox is at makes it look smaller, but I definitely don't think it's worth $130. Maybe $90 or $100. The Aquaman set isn't that bad, at least we get 4 figures and a Mother Box in it. Quote
