crises_crs Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 It is great to build just for fun. You don't need to worry about realism, restrictions and rules. Just let your head and fingers do their job :-) Here is the effect of such creative week. First I made a horseshoe-shaped building. It looked a bit odd so I added a roof. It helped. Then a well and a tree appeared. But what about action? What is this building actually? First I thought about a forge but then an idea of bakery came to my mind. Let's make a bakery then and the longest sandwich in the whole Kingdom! And here it is: You can find more pics here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskBBqRCJ Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 NIce building, the shape is unique. And the sandwich is great. The bread loaves as the wall is NPU. Quote
BrickJagger Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Nice work! I love the shape of the building, as well and the sandwich itself. Quote
BrickCurve Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) Great job! Its really rare to see a horse shoe shaped building which makes this one really stand out. Nice touch adding baguette around the wedge of the walls as well. Edited June 29, 2016 by BrickCurve Quote
TitusV Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Awesome! Hillarious! :laugh the sandiwch is great, and the House, especially the roof, stands out! Quote
Exetrius Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 The combination of odd ideas and a very solid execution makes this build so fantastic! So yeah, a gigantic medieval sandwich, a pentagonal house with V-shaped walls and U-shaped roof, a lovely tree and great minifigure details, awesome! Quote
Hoschiebaer Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 i really had to lough out as i saw this really a cute well next to the house. i would have only angled the bottom half of the sidewalls a little different than the top part Quote
Gunman Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Funny building shape there mate, your photography is great too. Funny concept xD Quote
crises_crs Posted July 12, 2016 Author Posted July 12, 2016 Thanks for the comments. I really like to build unusual things and to try sometimes "odd" ideas. I'm happy it worked here. Taking the photos was not easy job, but RAWs did their job perfectly. Quote
