July 1, 20168 yr As mentioned, the Magneto head makes the perfect budget-alternative to the SDCC 2013 Symbiote Spider-Man minifigure. Using that head you could also make a agent venom figure
July 1, 20168 yr SO GOOD! Ugh I'm actually gonna have to buy mighty micros for once. My thoughts exactly. Wow, these MM are so good. Can't wait for SDCC - hope they will reveal some info of new GotG 2 sets or even about Spider Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok! Neither of the latter two has finished filming, so I'd go with no. And we don't usually get Lego Marvel reveals.
July 1, 20168 yr These newer waves are definitely better than the ones we got this year. And Captain Nemo pointed out in the other thread that the trend of an X-Men set every two years still continues. (As does Wolverine and Magneto being in every X-Men set) Either way, X-Men is a pleasant surprise. The best set build wise is definitely Wolverine vs. Magneto (I LOVE THAT BLACKBIRD SO MUCH!) The best set figure wise is Iron Man vs. Thanos. Not getting the big fig, this is definitely a great alternative. (Infinity Gauntlet car is so great too) Loving the miniature Spider-Buggy; and I have to say, Scorpion looks way better in MM form than in the Bridge Battle. I'm going to be giving him tall green legs for sure. Also, are we counting this Iron Man as a Hall of Armor variant? Cuz I'm really running out of space in my MOC quickly.
July 1, 20168 yr It's nice to see the MMs getting so much love. After their launch there was a lot of disappointment with the figure styling but this second wave seems to have even the more difficult to please AFOLs nodding in agreement. Hopefully introducing some of the more obscure characters in both Marvel and DC to the younger fans just means they're opening up the roster in regular sets. I hope these continue for a long time.
July 1, 20168 yr I have a love-hate relationship with these mighty micros. I like them since they're a unique type of minifigure and I own almost every Marvel minifigure in nice baggies all labeled but I want to take these micros and switch their parts around and make my own full-size figures but that would ruin my collection. If I had an infinite budget I'd definitely buy two of every set so I can play around with them.
July 1, 20168 yr And Captain Nemo pointed out in the other thread that the trend of an X-Men set every two years still continues. This would technically release three years after the blackbird set, but hopefully this means we get a real X-men set. That Thanos is perfect! May need to pick two of those sets. I think 2017 is going to be a great year for LEGO. Edited July 1, 20168 yr by Royv

Yup, I in fact, I hope that they end up introducing proper full figure variants I have a love-hate relationship with these mighty micros. If I had an infinite budget I'd definitely buy two of every set so I can play around with them. This is very much in line with my thoughts as well. I also wish they had a normal expression side as alternates to the goofy one. Edited July 1, 20168 yr by agoodfella77

July 1, 20168 yr IronThanos is clearly my favorite. Iron Man, with helmet, will be a brilliant Classic Iron Man, and Thanos's face is perfect as the Mad Titan, even alongside normal figures. Tony's car is only average, but the Gauntlet is one of the best micros yet. WolverNeto is good too. Wolverine's mouth is a tad too slanted, but otherwise he works great as a fig, and Magneto's body and head are perfect; that head looks like a classic menacing shot from an X-men comic. Both cars are well above average. Yet again, Spidey has the weakest cars. I'm not as fond of his new head as his last one, but I'm really disappointed by what appears to be a torso repeat. Scorpion, though, is great, and with a full set of legs, would look perfect along side of normal figures.
July 1, 20168 yr I wonder where that new Iron Man headpiece will be reused... Edited July 1, 20168 yr by Sir Gareth
July 1, 20168 yr Iron Man, with helmet, will be a brilliant Classic Iron Man Wow, that's a great idea. All you need to do is get a red groin, yellow legs, and maybe two 1x1 red bricks if you really wanted to make it look good.
July 1, 20168 yr WOW! These look phenomenal. The Iron Man vs. Thanos set is by far the best, Iron Man looks great and Thanos now has an infinity gauntlet. Wolverine vs. Magneto is also great, I hope this means we can see X-Men sets soon. The Spiderman vs. Scorpion is the weakest one, not really anything interesting. Overall way more better then wave 1.
July 1, 20168 yr Since were getting an x men mighty micros set does this mean this year we could be getting more X men sets?
July 1, 20168 yr Just thinking out loud. It could be a mark one armor peice but would that mask become the new iron man mask and ever time we get a iron man get that helmet
July 1, 20168 yr Just thinking out loud. Ok One thing that kind of irks me is how Thanos' gauntlet is not printed.
July 1, 20168 yr It could be a mark one armor peice but would that mask become the new iron man mask and ever time we get a iron man get that helmet I don't think they'll switch it. I really think the Iron Man mask they have now works perfectly. Sure, it's a little top-heavy, but it's fun to flip the mask up and the size allows a lot of detail to be printed on. This full-sized mask like Darth Vader seems like a big step back so that's why I think that they simplified it just for this micro line.
July 1, 20168 yr This full-sized mask seems like a big step back. That's because it's inspired by the classic comic design, and not the recent film model.
