Ahhh, Detroit steel looks bad. It's good as an exo force mech, but not like Detroit steel. Lola and iron man save the set for me.

I really wish Lego had invested more in new molds for Detroit Steel. Oh well, I'll reserve final judgement until more pics surface.

Yes, just search for 'Lego Detroit Steel Strikes CM4SCI pictures'. I'd recommend either the Brick Leaks page or Reddit, those were the top results for me.

Just found this picture and I'm quite dissapointed! Mech is meh at best and Lola doesn't look as good as it did in video game. Not sure what to expect from Iron Man and Coulson but they will probably look like they did in Lego Marvel Avengers, so it's a worthwhile purchase just for those 2 minifigures.

It's All new all different Iron Man if I remember correctly.

Nah. I'm looking forward for a new mold or atleast new print for that. It would be so boring if they use a Nexo knight existing helm or print.

The images for the 2016 January sets didn't get released until waaaay late, December I think?

Thoughts on the Detriot Steel set:

Gee I can see what everybody would be upset about. I don't think it's that bad actually, just wish they'd tried harder on the chainsaw. Also I think the big fig with added on brick built weapons wings etc would have worked just fine if not better, price would be about the same but you might a beeper Lola and maybe a little sub model like in the ghost rider set. Ah well, love me some comic Iron Man so not to disaponted

I have to thank CM for this, it's very accurate to what the set picture really looks like. He nailed it, but the set isn't the best to me. The captain America jet set is much better.

I think Lola gets the overall shape right but (and I can't believe I'm saying this) it could use some stickers for a little added detail i.e. front grill, SHIELD logo, etc. so hopefully those are in the set.

Detroit Steel is actually pretty cool. It looks like a more fun version of the Hulkbuster and definitely isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. So far, not display worthy alone for me though but modifying it will definitely be fun. Overall a good set so far, excited to see those final photos. :)
