Brotherfromanotherbrick Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 The January Wave totals six sets. Awesome thanks for this information Quote
Battlinpanther Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 (edited) I didnt see the show either. But i just guessed that if they are in the third series there must be a lot of avengers to choose from. But baron zemo, the masters of evil and kang sound promising! Vision is appearing in the third season but most of the new Avengers in that season are all people who already have figs. Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and so on. The only major exceptions are Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel, who could end up getting figs. Scarlet Witch seems to be a persona non grata because of the shared rights issue with Fox, so I wouldn't expect a new comic fig for her anytime soon. Edited July 7, 2016 by Battlinpanther Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Three avengers assemble sets? That'll mean three captain america's and three new iron men :-D No in all fairness they could give us finally comicversions of vision and scarlet witch, right? Or Thor's helmet with hair under it? What other avenger did appear in the aa cartoon? Tigra? Wonderman? I hope the sets will be a bit more exciting than last aa sets *cough cough* HAWKEYE! *cough* Quote
tafkatb Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Hawkeye is one of my favorite Marvel characters, but I would still vastly prefer a brand new character over just getting another variant of a guy we've already gotten in multiple sets. Quote
AmericaLego Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I want to see comic Hawkeye and Black Widow in these sets. They have been in the show the whole time and have not been made into a figure yet. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 It wouldn't be the masked Hawkeye, the ultimate variant with purple glasses. I would love to see a comic black widow. It's about time we see those two in a set together :) Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 So can we say zemo is in one of the three? What are the chances of kang? ;) 33.33% is far from certain. Slim to none. 33.33% could be seen as a non-answer akin to "everyone's got a shot". There are 3 sets, so I would assume Howard the Duck also has a 33.33% chance of appearing. As does Darkhawk. And everyone. Yet you say Kang has slim to no chance. Would you care to revise your answer for Kang? Or does 33.33% actually mean Zemo will appear in one of the sets? (Which would sadly put Howard the Duck at a similar "slim to no chance".) Am I thinking too much? I really want Zemo Hawkeye is one of my favorite Marvel characters, but I would still vastly prefer a brand new character over just getting another variant of a guy we've already gotten in multiple sets. I would typically agree, but in this instance, I don't. Hawkeye has never been my favorite Avenger, but he's been there since before I was born. Yet there isn't a single version of Hawkeye that's ever been produced which I like. I just don't care for the movie look. It's cool for the movies, but I don't care to have it on my LEGO shelf, so if they finally gave us a classic comic version, I'd be ecstatic. Yay for opinions (And we know for a fact that they still have the Wolverine-mask-mold, which would be perfectly suitable for him...) Quote
Ultron Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Has wasp been introduced on that show yet? I'm literally dying for her fig.. Quote
Sir Gareth Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Or, does 33.33% actually mean Zemo will appear in one of the sets? No, it means Zemo could only be in the one of the three sets, hence 33.33%. Am I thinking too much? Yes, you're thinking too much Edited July 8, 2016 by Sir Gareth Quote
ToaDraco Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 No, it means Zemo could only be in the one of the three sets, hence 33.33%. Yes, you're thinking too much Ahhh, I see your game! Interesting... Quote

Sir Gareth Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Does anyone know if we're getting Cosmo the Spacedog? Is he even appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2? Edited July 8, 2016 by Sir Gareth Quote

The Lego Nolan Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) I'm loving the SheHulk, Red Hulk, and Red She Hulk figures. But I guess I can get rid of my customs now. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/comic-con-hulk-she-hulk-909252 Edited July 8, 2016 by The Lego Nolan Quote

agoodfella77 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 First look at Hulk vs. Red Hulk Wow!! They look amazing! Quote
Legocity2713 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) WHOA! They're like Mighty Micros but bigger! Mighty Macros? Anyway, easy pick up if not just for Red Hulk. The set seems very Agents of SMASH inspired. Very cool. Edited July 8, 2016 by Legocity2713 Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 All the characters are great! The builds not so much. Quote
TheAmazingDarkKnight Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Wow I really didn't expect that. Makes me somewhat thankful I didn't purchase a bootleg She-Hulk figure. The figure selection is great, really digging that retro styled Hulk too. The only thing I don't completely like is the price per piece, albeit it has two big figs and rather large pieces. Out of curiosity, are the vehicles used in that Agents of S.M.A.S.H. cartoon? Or is it something that came from a designers lunatic imagination? Gotta say though, this reveal has made me even more anxious to see what the last two sets are Edited July 8, 2016 by TheAmazingDarkKnight Quote
latenightguy Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 The minifigures look amazing! They even give another Hulk variant for those who have some already (such as myself) and design a nice-looking Red Hulk. In terms of the build, they look fine, since this set is focused on the figures, with the 'Hulk-mobile' providing some nice colors. But, I am anxious of a $60 set for 375 pieces, even though there are two big-figs and two very detailed minifigures... Quote
