How come the freaking north-american release dates for the january marvel sets (76076-76077-76078) are still nowhere to be found?

I think it will probably be March, according to a store clerk at a Lego Store I spoke with. I'm giving you the source of the information so you gauge the reliability for yourself.

Isn't that GotG vol2 sets will be available also in March?

I'm no expert, but that's what has been reported, yes. So that means 6 new Marvel sets in the US in March. Only the three mighty micros got Jan. releases in the US.

Also, at the moment you quoted me to ask this question above, we both had 166 EBF posts!

No. It can't be that switch because it would make no sense if switch was in two sets, and in one of the sets two switches in one set.

If its not the control switch for the bomb then what is it?  They show groot holding it in the trailer and in the set.

I don't know, maybe some useless playfeature by LEGO or maybe we will see after watching film.

With the US release date in March for Marvel and Star Wars I keep telling myself it is a good thing on my wallet. Enough time to save up for what I want. In particular with the Marvel stuff I am stoked for all of the sets except for the Hulk one. The Guardians stuff and Detroit Steel in particular grab my attention. The Captain America jet is a little silly, but I think the figures will make it worth it.

J2G said on the brickfeed podcast that there will be 4 Marvel based brickheadz  and will be LEGO Store exclusives.

Nice, however there aren't official LEGO stores here and I never buy from S@H. Thanks LEGO :hmpf_bad:

Here are the Brickheadz: (They are at the bottom)

LEGO Brickheadz Marvel

Those are awesome! Looks like the sets are movie-based as compared to the SDCC releases. I'm also glad that they're now individually packaged rather than in two-packs. Cap and Iron Man are must-gets!

I like these more than the SDCC ones. And like @Aethersprite said, the individual packs are really the way to go. They look really well made, however I don't see myself getting any.

Just to be clear, we're not counting this Iron Man build as part of our Hall of Armor collection right?

Also find it funny that a Civil War accurate Black Widow and Captain America (without the red lines on his chest) first made their appearances as Brick Heads rather than minifigures

Wow. I wasn't planning on collecting these (I already have enough in my hands trying to chase after Marvel, DC, and Star Wars figures), but it sucks that the SDCC designs will remain exclusive. I imagine a lot of people didn't buy them on the secondary market, expecting the designs to be re-released. The prices for the SDCC BrickHeadz will probably increase further. Oh well, I guess us Lego fans have started getting used to this feeling of "missing out" ever since Lego started doing exclusives. Nothing that can be done. That having been said, I do love the new designs, and I'm even tempted to pick up Cap and Iron Man.

Well , these Brickheadz are a major improvement over SDCC ones from last year, but I'm still not interested in any of them! Cap and Iron Man are really close to what their Civil War minifigures look like, but still I don't see the point of Lego copying Funko Pop. I like Pop but these don't really look like Lego to me. I'm more interested in minifigures and if these Brickheadz came with a corresponding minifigure I'd be more inclined to buy them. Btw do we know their price? I'd guess 10-15$ as piece count is fairly small.

If it was that price, I'd buy it if I could. Much better than Microfighters or Mighty Micros

Edit: notice how huge Cap's ears are? :oh3:

Those are the straps from his helmet, not his ears.

I doubt it. Don't forget Cap's ears poke out from the sides of his helmet. And the straps aren't so far back. Either way it looks bad.

These are sooo adorable! Really hope there's a wave two in summer or next year

Each of these sets comes with a printed tile featuring a stylized Brickheadz icon and a "1" in a word bubble, which suggests to me that TLG is planning to release at least one more wave.
