Can't lie, I love how everyone wanted a new Milano, but complains about having a new one :laugh_hard:

I feel a throwback to Harry Potter with the unisex uniforms on Star Lord and Gamora, Drax looks great with the leg printing, and Nebula... I'll save judgment for in hand, I really don't know how I feel

Milano is $50? Awesome! I seriously don't understand the hate- they were always going to go smaller and yeah it's disappointing that it lacks an interior but I love the colors and the cockpit! Plus the minifigures are amazing and all have new faces except Star-Lord.

Still I think this is a good news, if this is $50, think the other two is cheaper, how about $20 for Ravager and $30 for Ayesha.

EDIT: found another set review this time Ayesha's Revenge but this is full Rusian I guess

Yeah, according to one Reddit and Imgur user's post of his receipt from a New York state TRU: Rocket is $20, Ayesha is $30, and Milano is indeed $50. The only one we were really unsure about I think was the Milano since the rumors ranged anywhere from $40 to $45 up to $60.

Heck yea! I'm excited for this sets. Will definitely buy those 2 smaller sets. Hmmm I want to buy the new Milano and get the cockpit put it in the old one, but I don't know if it's going to fit.

I just found a review for the New Milano from the Brick Ministry on youtube and I can truly say that this set is a disappointment, also it will cost 50$

Yeah. No back compartment is definitely a massive disappointment. It really does feel like they ran out of allocated pieces and decided to just add a bunch of play features instead. It's overall inferior to the previous version other than having a more accurate colour scheme for a few characters and the vehicle and a large cockpit. Maybe when it drops price it might be worth it.

I think the key difference is that people wanted a UCS Milano, something that could fit all the Guardians and have a back compartment while looking impressive. Its similar to the desire people have for a new Quinjet, they want as accurate as possible. The smaller versions are'nt something that i've seen anyone ask for, and i think they are primarily a way of giving more 'playable' sets in terms of 'swooshing'

The top piece sliding backwards to allow access to the cockpit is a great piece of design work that i dont believe we've seen before in Lego. Rather than opening the see-through dome, instead you just slide back the top piece, insert a figure and then it locks them in. Its a bit more sci-fi than just an opening dome piece. Kind of gives an 'anime mech' vibe. Might end up using this idea for a few mech builds as it's a nice play feature and means you dont necessarily have to rely on having an opening front compartment.

STOP ASKING WHEN LEGO GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 SETS WILL BE RELEASED!!! On every page there is a question: When Lego GotG 2 will be released? STOP!!! Sets are going to be released in MARCH. Okay!? So stop ASKING!

Really no need for that in the forum. I clearly stated that I'm sure someone already asked. I'm not able be on this forum day and night. I have a job. SpiderJazz was nice enough to just answer me.

So there's definitely no hope for a reasonable Ms. Marvel torso any time soon. I just commented about it on Lego's Facebook and they said they didn't have any plans to right now. Getting tempted to find a bootleg..

So you could go page or two back.

Or you could just answer the question, instead of posting like a dick and pointlessly adding more posts to the thread.

Writing the same question on every page is pointlessly adding more posts to the thread.

Agreed, but that's no reason to get angry and over-react.  Telling members what to and what not to post is the job of EB staff, not regular member like yourself.

@BS2015, @Invincible_LEGOMAN, @YoshiBlockr, @GeekByKnight, and everyone else,

If you aren't closely following a this topic, actually read some recent pages of the topic or perform a search for any questions you have before asking.  For those who follow this topic closely, it is really annoying to see each page filled up with the same question.  @Invincible_LEGOMAN, your question was already answered in the top of the same page you asked your question.  It was obvious you didn't read the previous 7 posts before asking.  Please be mindful of this in the future.  Thanks.

That's alright guys, we have the same interest here. No need for that. :classic:

Watching this new review for GoTG vol2 sets, I found out that Starlord and Gamora's legs are same exact with CW: Hawkeye. That kinda sucks.

I don't mind. It's nice to get leg printing at all, especially after last year's abysmal legs. Plus it's a nice print and works well.

Thy could have use Drax's leg atleast it's unified, IMO.

Last movie they are wearing red, now it seems they follow the comics with this blue kinda thingy

And Gamora and Starlord both have exactly the same torso , despite the fact that they are different sex! Lego just couldn't print a few extra lines on Gamora minifigure apparently. Even though '14 version looked unique enough.

Ya, curved lines just to distinguish the gender. But don't get me wrong I love the new head prints.

They could have atleast unified the legs and have curves for Gamora ( Just like Nebula and Mantis )

I'm not the biggest fan of the newer suits regardless, so chances are i'll just stick to the first movie's suits (which i managed to find nice arms with printing)

Arm printing or Rocket? (The one in the poly) i'm using that for my Starlord.

Just watched a build video of the Milano set. It's actually a pretty good build technique wise, maybe better than the original, but it's too small.

I will admit that the design looks better, but overall the original was better, especially because of the fact of storage space. At least now we can fit all 5 Guardians in, what with Baby Groot

Yeah, i ended up getting a few of the Rocket polybag sets (the one with a groot sappling) and took the printed arms from two of them, giving them to Starlord and Gamora. Now Starlord, Gamora and Rocket all have the same outfit with arm printing while Drax just retains his shirtless appearance with his arm printing.

Do you guys think that new cockpit will fit the old Milano? Or u need a major modification for it. Wanna get the new Milano mainly for Figs.

The new cockpit is actually inferior to the old one looking at the video, it can fit four figures, but it's not as large it just removes the seats to create space.

The below video gives a basic idea of simple but effective mods to the old Milano to make it more accurate and it massively improves the cockpit with simple changes, and it allows for the dual reclining seats at the front, plus it looks like it does'nt change much of the original design so you'd be able to easily transplant the window piece from the new set to the old.
