Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Maybe there's an extra head or helmet that we have yet to see... The arms turned out exactly as expected, and the gauntlet isn't new

Also that torso would work rather well for a certain Walking Dead villain...

 

Also I just looked at Vulture and Iron Man in the bottom left, you can see Vulture has a flesh head, but it doesn't look like Tony does

Shocker looks okay. I'm disappointed we don't get his full costume but at least he's got arm printing! And he comes with his gauntlets! That's pretty good. I absolutely ADORE the new Iron Man- both the minifigure and the overall design. I'm a sucker for the silver in the suits, so it's definitely one of my favorite Lego Iron Man figures. I like Vulture's wings a lot better after the second trailer, because they look huge and awesome in the movie and the set has made them super detailed. The talons and lack of leg printing is still disappointing though, and I'm still not a fan of the helmet. It's way too flat for the beaked appearance of the helmet in the movie.

I had high hopes for the shocker figure, very disappointing though. Wish he had a mask or something unique.

nice find yea, it appears here that Ironman doesn't have a flesh head.

 

well yea they can include the mask, look at the gauntlet it's not in character list but included in the main artwork. *cross fingers* but I doubt. Haha

Just my luck...

I was sent a low quality version picture of the Shocker a week or two ago. I figured it was a photoshop of a custom Negan torso onto the Toyfair picture.

Well, the Homecoming sets were a huge bust. Super disappointed in TLG right now.

So wth was the point of LEGO covering him up then?!?!? We saw him in the trailers in that exact same look. Wow, What a complete disappointment, I fully expected him suited up, not in plain clothes with only one gauntlet. For crying out loud, his legs aren't even a new print. We know from set photos he gets the suit so what gives LEGO? I'm still planning to get the set but LEGO really failed hard on the Homecoming sets, man. Let's just hope the Ragnarok sets make up for it. The minfigs at least do.

He actually has two, you can see this at the top of the box where the figure display is, where we can see Spidey also has a phone

I get it. Set photos of Shocker in full costume. But how about the leaked pictures in merchandise? It's so good.

Big dissapointment man. They could have included the mask.

 

Ugh TLG, no consistency in all this figs. Ragnarok figs are way much better.

Legs should be black. Jacket should be dark blue and grey. Black gloves, no normal brown hands. Maybe dual-molded arms? Glove looks much different than in LEGO form and he has got only one glove.

I will say this though.  Switch the arms on Shocker to a set of black ones, and you have a decent torso for Netflix Luke Cage.

And are we sure that is Dark Red and not just an attempt to give Shocker chest printing?

Appears i'm a little late for the Shocker discussion.

With all the secrecy i thought he'd be based on a possible later version of Shocker similar to the image posted by SpiderJazz above - instead he's based on arguably the incomplete and least interesting version of Shocker that we've seen.

Only thing that really feels like Shocker is the arms, but the printing does not even look to be that good on them. It may be somewhat accurate to the movie scene, but would have preferred the inneviteable evolved costume of Shocker with his mask as he's not really iconic or interesting in his current form.

Hahaha I remember the days when I was also expecting that double sided. But when the Nytf footage reveals the head o the other robber, knew it was just a dream.

@Scarilian they could have easily print the mask and include it rather than a generic face. Oh my, Thor figs are way way way much better! What a let down.

Did not need you to tell me to stop, i even mentioned that we should avoid speculation on the subject given its too early. No discussion past the remark was intended. I only posted my thoughts on the minimal amount of figures in reply to the idea that we knew nothing about the movie - because statements have confirmed the focus of the movie.

I get why they did it, it's somewhat accurate to the version we see in the trailers and we're not even entirely sure we'll get either of the more comic-accurate looking Shocker's that we've seen via the toys or set photo's. It's just a shame because it's not a particularly interesting design and i was hoping that Shocker would make up for the problems with Vulture.

This ^ Next we'll get a Black Panther set or something where they have no arm/leg print and just generic non-detailed torso's xD
