It's nice to see the MMs getting so much love. After their launch there was a lot of disappointment with the figure styling but this second wave seems to have even the more difficult to please AFOLs nodding in agreement.

Hopefully introducing some of the more obscure characters in both Marvel and DC to the younger fans just means they're opening up the roster in regular sets.

I'm still not a fan of them--if those Star Wars Micro Ships didn't exist as an example of what the MM line COULD be, I'd probably be more okay with them, but... for now, they're still just disappointing me by not being the thing I wish they were.

Maybe if I ever get around to building a modular comics shop and I can justify mixing them in with the rest of my collection as kids in costume, I'll be more excited about them. At least the two Spiderman MMs have expressions appropriate for two kids annoyed someone else wore their same costume...

All that said, the Magneto head seems super useful, and X-Men appearing at all lends some credence to those stories of the Marvel / Fox relationship improving. Would LOVE new X-Men sets (although please, no more Wolverine and Magneto...)

I take back everything bad I said, a (regular) Mojo would retroactively make the whole MM range AMAZING.

All of these have their merits, the new scorpion piece being included and Magneto's face stand out to me. Not a huge fan of Spideman making another appearance, but that is to be expected at this point.

Front page pictures aren't working.

I don't think the vehicles are as good as the DC ones except Thano's

The Iron Man Vs Thanos one is the only one that interests me. Maybe the X Men one.

Like someone else said, Scorpion with regular legs might be a good alternative to the bridge version. The Spidey is maybe a little dull, but I like having a new expression... if you've got multiple Spidey figs in your collection, swapping out the regular heads with the MM expressions is a nice way to liven 'em up! And using the extra heads on the MM Spidey figs, you can then put the figs in your Lego Halloween displays. All they need is this with a handle!

The Gauntlet car is fun, as are the X-Men cars... and while I appreciate that Magneto's head will be useful in making a Symbiote Spidey or Agent Venom, hopefully, I'm getting tired of Wolvie & Mags being constants...wish Disney would start up a new X-Men animated series, so maybe Lego could make more sets, but I imagine Fox has a piece of the action, unlike Sony when it comes to the Ultimate Spider-Man shows.

All in all, a solid 2nd wave of this line for both DC & Marvel!

I really hope the appearance of an X-Men MM set means that there is a glimmer of hope for more X-Men in the Superhero line.

It's the first X-Men set in two-and-a-half years, I'd hope so too, now that the recent trilogy has closed. Given the comic sets Lego's been giving us for Spidey, I'd love if they gave out more X-men sets rather than Spidey stuff, especially since Spidey's joined the MCU.

Speaking of which, if Batman and Spidey show up in their third respective-universe Mighty Micros, I'm going to flip. Sets are one thing...

I can definitely see Iron Man's headpiece being reused for an Avengers Assemble variant, or something. Maybe versus a certain Baron?

Oh man. If they ever make a Mighty Micro set that is $20-$30 with him they could totally justify the theme for AFOLs. That could essentially be the whole story behind them.

One thing that kind of irks me is how Thanos' gauntlet is not printed.

Seconded. If we're getting a LEGO Gauntlet in 2018/19 it'll be fitted for a big fig, so it would have been nice to get a minifigure capable version

I'm actually really hoping they use that new Iron Man helmet to do a current comic version of Iron Man, I just love the redesign.

These are definitely better than last years MM though, they'll be great for my desk at work

Did you photoshop the helmet on, or is it an official picture?

Yeah I shopped it on.

Nerd question: are the gold cheese slopes on the Gauntletmobile the usual Warm Gold, or are they Drum Lacquered/Gold Ink?

They look like Warm Gold while the fingers look like that Drum Lacquered. I'm sure when more pictures are found it'll all be normal gold.
