The Captain America minifigure is 99.99% Steve Rogers, so there's that.

Just realised, someone mentioned goggles, which Wilson Cap has. But if we're getting a new Rogers Cap variant (not just a new helmet head with flippers or a jet pack) then that's still alright in my books

I'm not that excited either for so much ANAD marvel characters but the Iron Man armor looks classic enough for me! Plus new helmet mold so I'm ok with that! Not too crazy about the cap set. I really had my hopes for Zemo

I may be in the minority here, but this wave reaks of a push-pull marketing ploy to promote All-New, All-Different Marvel, while capitalizing on the popularity of the television series.

I've never really understood this. Like I said before when someone complained about She-Hulk getting a fig over supposedly more deserving characters, it's not like there's any sort of hierarchy. Marvel probably has thousands of characters and the simple reality is some of them are gonna get made before others and many of them probably won't see Lego form at all.

So far, the winter wave sounds like a mixed bag. On one hand, we're getting Coulson, Lola, She-Hulk(s) and Red Hulk, on the other we are getting Detroit Steel(an odd choice) ANAD Ms. Marvel, another Iron Man variant(or ANAD Iron MAN who is actually a girl but is still called Iron MAN for some stupid reason) another Cap variant(which is rumored to have the helmet we've all bean waiting for so that could be great) a lousy set for the Hulks, and (yet another) jet. As someone who HATES ANAD Marvel, I'm worried the rest of the year will be focused on the current Marvel trend rather than more traditional comic sets like we got this year.

Must say though, Kamala Khan is a popular new uprising superheroine... I just hope that our other popular new uprising superheroine (Spider Gwen) will appear in some summer comic Spider sets

I guess it's good for brand longevity that they're mixing classic characters with newer ones. I just hope they keep the quality up given how great the figs and builds in this summer wave were.

Yup. Also, ANAD Iron Man is Tony--Riri is Iron Man in the Divided We Fall era, which is taking over after ANAD Marvel ends with Civil War II. And look, just because it's the same suit doesn't mean that I'm that I'm drawing pointless distinctions based on equally pointless empty marketing banners.

But really, anyone who would be upset about it being Riri instead of Tony... why? It's gonna look identical with the helmet on. Hell, there's no way you don't have some spare Tony heads lying around if you really want to retroactively make her Tony.

Psyched for Kamala, would love a Spider-Gwen, Silk, Ms America or Kate Bishop Hawkeye, and am anticipating Squirrel Girl like the dickens. Would gladly take a Lunella Lafayette if it means we get a Devil Dinosaur. New superheroines are where it's AT with Marvel right now. I love the older characters too, but honestly, the books I anticipate every month are mostly those with new heroine leads. And it's especially exciting to see Lego branch out into making more of them minifigs, since most of the older characters already have a minifig (or several) already.

I especially don't see how it's a marketing ploy to include the most popular new character Marvel Comics has introduced in at least a decade? Or to make an Iron Man variant based on the current design? If they were making a bunch of sets based on the (non-Kamala) Inhumans, I'd get it, but these seem like pretty obvious choices for characters to make minifigs of.

And unrelated: Steve Rogers with goggles and a jacket is a real head scratcher. He's worn that a bunch in WW2 set stories, but I can't remember him using that as a costume in the present day. Which... when you include Ms Marvel in that set makes it a real headscratcher.

Someone else already mentioned Kamala appears on the Avengers Assemble TV show anyway, and Lego has been doing figures for characters from that show for a while. I don't see why she wouldn't be fair game.

I need someone for my Dr. Doom figure to battle on my Avenger's Tower, and none of the characters we got already are up to the challenge. It's about damn time Lego release a REAL hero.

I hate Squirrel Girl. she is probably the worst Marvel character next to Howard the Duck. I would rather see Daredevil, Moon Knight, Jessica Jones and Blade before we see her as a minifigure.

Agreed! Squirrel Girl is the silliest and most ridiculous superhero Marvel has. I don't know why she has more than one fan, but apparently she has more. Hope if she gets released it will be in a polybag, so I won't have to spend my money on this ridiculous character.

I don't mind whom we see, so long as we get new characters at the sort of rate 2016 did.

I'm personally rather pleased we're getting Red Hulk and She-Hulk, and even characters like Coulson, Detroit Steel and Red She-Hulk whom I don't know much of, nor care much for Will still be nice to expand my collection.
