Legocity2713 Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I'm sure they just named the actual person inside the suit "Detroit Steel" similar to what they did the the Rhino. They probably also gave him a helmet to have too just because while he is under the suit. Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Detroit steel is a minifigure(sorry). And he's wearing the helmet on the bottom part where they display the minifigures. I'm sure they just named the actual person inside the suit "Detroit Steel" similar to what they did the the Rhino. They probably also gave him a helmet to have too just because while he is under the suit. Yep. Quote

Sir Gareth Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Welcome to Eurobricks, Mattallica! Thanks for sharing Quote
Invincible_LEGOMAN Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Yep. So it's like Hulkbuster with Detriot Steel having a helmet inside of a bigger helmet? Quote
SpiderJazz Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) Something doesn't add up here. (Unless the mini-fig Detroit steel in inside the bigger one) That's also what I thought, a detriot steel inside of a Bigger brick built detriot steel. So basically we both have minifig and brick built. Is that correct? Edited August 20, 2016 by SpiderJazz Quote

Aethersprite Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Hopefully Detroit Steel's head is a new mold or at least decently brickbuilt (and decently-sized)! What helmet could the minifig inside be wearing, though? Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Hopefully Detroit Steel's head is a new mold or at least decently brickbuilt (and decently-sized)! What helmet could the minifig inside be wearing, though? There is no outer helmet, only the minifig helmet. Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 What headpiece could the minifigure inside be wearing, though? The new Iron Man one? Quote
SpiderJazz Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 There is no outer helmet, only the minifig helmet. Let me clarify things here, We do have the brick built Detroit Steel right? And then the minifig's head piece also serves the head of the whole brick built? Quote

SpiderJazz Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Hmmm strange, I cannot imagine a normal sized helmet will serve as a head of a brick built mech like. But still interesting. Quote

Actually, the one in the game uses an iron man helmet piece as his head,so I guess it's accurate. This set sounds larger than 30 dollars. Does anyone know the real price yet? Quote
Ookami Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Guys, is this really confirmed, that Cap is going to be Steve Rogers and not Sam Wilson? I just don't want to give up on my hopes, because getting another version of Steve seems so ridiculous and I want Cap-Falcon so bad. Quote
Invincible_LEGOMAN Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I can't see them making a new helmet mold just for Detriot steel. I would think it would be a re paint of the new iron man helmet mold. Either way this seems odd Quote

I believe Sci or someone speculated about $40 for the set, which is reasonable, given Detroit Steel, Coulson and Lola, and Iron Man. I just don't want to give up on my hopes, because getting another version of Steve seems so ridiculous and I want Cap-Falcon so bad. My problem is the Super-Adaptooid. If they adapt to those they are fighting, and he's for red wings and a shield....it's got to be Sam Wilson! Quote

(So we can count it as sort of "Ironman" variant) because he's using the helmet. Edited August 20, 2016 by SpiderJazz Quote

Technically, the Super-Adaptoid can store powers, so... he could've JUST come from fighting Sam Wilson. I'd love a Sam Wilson Cap, but I can't see them putting him in a set for a long time, and until after that plot point shows up in the movies or cartoons... Quote

Did I miss something...because when did the Red-Hulks race the Green-Hulks? Or was that a deleted scene? Sorry, but I would hope for Sam Wilson. It'd make sense in context of the rest of the set, and plus...DC got Green Arrow and Green Lantern, and now a version of Bizarro. It's time Marvel got some stuff like that...and don't tell me we got 10+ Spider-men, because we all know that's not where I was going with this. I don't feel it'd be wrong to include Captain Wilson just because he was an SDCC character. Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) The Captain America minifigure is 99.99% Steve Rogers... Edited August 21, 2016 by Sir Gareth Quote

It's most likely Steve Rogers, but no, it's not 100% confirmed - the prelim uses the AoU Cap, but since that's definitely a stand-in either way, no one here can say for absolute certain what the final version will be. How come someone say it's a new design Steve Rogers cap, when they use AoU for the prelim images? Quote
