Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 These set names are alright. I think the Captain America one is not very creative, given the Blaxk Panthed pursuit set from earlier this year. Quote
benderisgreat Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Tbh set names are pretty generic, nothing creative, but gives a general idea what to expect from the set. Hope we'll see pictures of these sets soon! Quote
SpiderJazz Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 It's technically Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes I really wanna see the new armor right now! cannot wait to add it on my collection. NEW HEAD PRINT please. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I'm excited to see what these new sets have in store for us! Quote
linnormlord Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 IIRC The new armor will have the Might Micros Helmet? (in the Detroit Steel set) I wonder if this means they are moving away from giving us Iron Man 3 armors, or if they feel that the new helmet suits a particular armor more. Quote

(in the Detroit Steel set) I wonder if this means they are moving away from giving us Iron Man 3 armors, or if they feel that the new helmet suits a particular armor more. Well there's only a certain few cool armours they could give us (ones with specific purposes like Stealth, Red Snapper), yet the comics have SOOO much more armours to offer Quote

Yeah, it's the Invincible Iron Man armor Quote
tafkatb Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Minor note but I realized the new helmet means we can finally get an Iron Man keychain; the faceplate on the existing helmet made that impractical before. Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 We did, but that clothes are outdated now, since Tony doesn't have arc reactor on his chest anymore. Plus version of Tony in business suit would be a welcome addition. Why would any kid want a Tony Stark in a t-shirt when they could have an actual supervillain? I really wanna see the new armor right now! cannot wait to add it on my collection. NEW HEAD PRINT please. SAME. That suit is going to be my new main Iron Man suit when I get ahold of it. So hype. wesker Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 The last Tony minifigure was accurate at the time, but not now it's not. Yes it's kinda easy to make this version yourself, but nothing beats official version. And besides Tony is a popular character and will appear in Homecoming, I can't see why Lego won't make his minifigure in the set based on the movie. Would an official version be any different? You're talking about Tony Stark in a common business suit. Lego has so many existing suit prints available they'd probably just end up using an existing part if they made an official minifigure. Its like wanting a Death Watch Obi-Wan. Why bother with an official version when you can just place Obi-Wan's head on the Mandalorian Super Commando body? Either way you would still be getting the exact same minifigure. Quote
Aethersprite Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Hopefully Tony comes with his hair so that you can put it on while have his helmet off, like in the Might Micros set. Quote
Invincible_LEGOMAN Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Can anybody yet paint a clearer picture of the Steve Rogers Captain America? I know someone said something about goggles but no helmet? Is it his stealth suit which its only blue and silver? Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 76076 Captain America Jet Pursuit - Red, white, blue jet. Kamala Khan looks amazing, uses the WW hair in dark brown. New, long long long flex tube piece for arms, she has her yellow brace painted on. Can't see Captain America and Super Adaptoid's got a shield and wings. 76077 Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes - Iron Man. Coulson in cool floating red car, Lola? Detroit Steel is pretty much the Hulkbuster build but with different legs, weapons on the hands, dark red CCBS curved shells and wings on the back. Detroit Steel comes out as a minifigure. Quote

Two questions... 1. Is the Detroit Steel minifigure a smaller version of Detroit Steel as a minifigure (Russian doll) or a normal guy piloting, like Rhino? 2. What sort of build was the Cap jet like? Similar to Panther jet? Quote
Borex Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Also a question: did the superadaptoid have a face printed on? Quote

Similar to Panther jet? It's dark blue with a tan face. Uses NXK helmet. Unfinished. Actually yeah it looked sort of similar. It's got two fins on the back and disc shooters on the wings. Also a question: did the superadaptoid have a face printed on? Random black lines, nothing important or final. Oh, and 3 GotG sets as reported. Baby Groot included! PicnicBasketSam Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 ^Well, if they can secure the license, Mr. Fantastic immediately springs to mind... The Detroit Steel set sounds kinda fun, if Lola is good I might pick it up. I regret not buying the Hulkbuster, but I was hoping DS would be a tad smaller.... anyway. Jet sounds pretty boring unless they do something really amazing with it, I'm not one to buy sets for the minifigures. Quote
HyperOnion Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Kamala Khan looks amazing, uses the WW hair in dark brown. New, long long long flex tube piece for arms, she has her yellow brace painted on. Iiiinteresting. Super interested in this, and how it all connects. I would've suspected the flex tubes pieces are too rubbery to go into the torso. Did it look like her legs were regular legs, or possibility of the long Woody legs? Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) Have you seen baby Groot? Any info on how he's made? (One new mold, new head mold on baby body, etc) I figure you would've told us if you knew, but it can't hurt to ask! As for Mr. Fantastic, I really don't think it has anything to do with securing the license. They have access to Marvel's entire character catalogue. They just....haven't. Cuz they're evil, I guess?
