1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 To Lego, Spidey is to Marvel what Batman is to DC. There's no way they'll skip out on Homecoming sets. I also seem to recall hearing that Spider-man is the most lucrative superhero in history! Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 (edited) Yep, Spiderman sells. So you can definitely expect him in a set based off of his movie. Edited September 18, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
Deadshot Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Yeah, Lego just released 5(?) new Marvel sets, and 4 of them are centered around Spiderman. I think Lego will do at least 2 sets. Doing 1 set only like they did for Dr. Strange and Antman, but for a very popular character who's also super kid-friendly, would just be dumb. Quote
DuckBricks Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) The LDD Mockup by Cm4Sci on BrickPicker looks interesting. But sad Lola isn't the awesome one from the game, and Detroit Steel looks like a reskinned Hulk buster, but overall it looks alright... Edited September 19, 2016 by legozebra Quote

Hopefully it looks good in-hand! Quote

SpiderJazz Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) Is this the exact prelim image? Edited September 19, 2016 by SpiderJazz Quote
NXS7 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) When people said it was Hulkbuster like, I was thinking it would be bulkier; Edited September 19, 2016 by Quicksilver838 Quote
Captain Nemo Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 Everyone please do not post or inquire about where to find "leaked" images. Even though they are drawings of preliminary/set images, we cannot allow them on Eurobricks. In the past we have gotten in trouble for members posting detailed drawings of unreleased sets. Thanks! Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Wow, Sci. What happened to Lola? How did Lego go from the incredible video game design...to that? Detroit Steel looks pretty alright. Also, what're those pieces on Iron Man's hands? Quote

Bricky Dee Williams Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 It looks like flame pieces in a blue color for me. Oh, the torch flame/feather pieces. I see it now, looked like a wierd, trans-blue banana to me, at first anyways. Thanks. Quote
Invincible_LEGOMAN Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I couldn't find the mockup but the set is sounding not good so far. Quote
NXS7 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 For anyone who missed the prelim, it basically looks like a smaller combination of Hulkbuster and 70707 CLS-89 Eradicator Mech, no dome helmet, just the minifigure head with Nexo helmet Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Missed? It's still where it originally was. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Lola isn't bad to be fair. I reckon that with a few mods she'll be fantastic :) Quote
ToaDraco Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Based on his render, the set looks really good to me. Lola looks great and so does Detroit Steel. Quote
SpiderJazz Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Oh, the torch flame/feather pieces. I see it now, looked like a wierd, trans-blue banana to me, at first anyways. Thanks. Yup! Torch flame pieces. np! Also the set looks good for me. after all this is a lego and we can modify it on our own preferences Quote
Foxes Productionz Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 I like Lola and Ironman's flame peices are cool but I was never a big fan of the scale of the Hulkbuster so I will probably end up scaling Detroit Steel down, that is if I get it. Quote
