Why is it hard to understand guys? Let's just be thankful for a new character **Coulson** also a new variant for Ironman! Quote
Captain Nemo Posted October 16, 2016 Author Posted October 16, 2016 Let's stop bickering over semantics please. Focus on Lego, not the MCU or whatever. Thanks! Quote
Borex Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Two homecoming and possibly one other spider-man set? That leaves room to give us one more of those awesome classic comic sets they gave us this year. I am not a fan of the mcu in terms of design, so i would really welcome that. Quote
Dr Axels Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) Two Homecoming sets, hopefully, guarantees both Vulture and Shocker minifigs. I know we are bound to get Vulture since he is the main villain, but I'd hate for LEGO to overlook Shocker. However, is anyone a bit nervous what Vulture's wingsuit might look like? Based off the concept art, it leads me to assume it'll wind up being a massive set of wings strapped to a miniscule figure. Edited October 17, 2016 by Dr Axels Quote

I think that they may go with the plastic sheet design (like they used for hawkman) or falcons wings with a different print though I hope that neither of these is the case. Ultron Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 At least we have Classic Vulture already and won't have to suffer like we do with Rhino Quote

I would be fine with a plastic sheet like hawkman if they put in holes to put handles for vulture to grip. I'm honestly happy with the number of marvel sets we're getting this year, 13 if we're counting mighty micros. I don't need a ton since I'm also getting lego batman movie sets. Quote

Actually, that idea wouldn't be half bad. I'll also be getting most of the LBM sets so it's good that we're not getting too many sets for marvel. Edited October 17, 2016 by LegoShroom Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 I'd really like to see them brick built, honestly. They look really big and cool already, so a couple of bricks dedicated to the wings (not enough to be considered a major part of the set) could pretty nice, imo. Quote

SpiderJazz Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Falcon wings with new print will do. And a couple of bricks that can make that different. Quote
Borex Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 The thing with the falcon wings is that he has arms and wings, not arms with wings Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I wish they'd make a Marvel Comics Fantastic Four Baxter Building set. Quote

It looks like the wings aren't actually attached to their arms like in the comics, but have handles for their hands to hold onto and "steer". [ So the same set-up the Falcon mini-fig has might not be wholly inaccurate. Quote
Borex Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Oh yeah, you're right. Well i'm wondering how they do vulture now. He could turn out as a real cool fig. Also those claws. Quote

Captain Britain Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Slightly off topic but linking back to topic - little trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 just dropped so you can get a look at the characters. Hopefully we'll get what we see at the end (love the coat!). Quote
benderisgreat Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Loved that Guardians 2 trailer! Hope Lego sets will be on par with 2014 sets, but please not another Milano! I can still find 2014 one in stores , no need for another one. As for minifigures trench coat Starlord, Gamora, Rocket , Drax and Yondu. Baby Groot needs a new mold for sure, and Nebula would also be a welcome addition . As for the builds I can't wait for Ego The Living Planet, I mean he has to be a set, right? Quote

Captain Nemo Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 Everyone--take the movie talk to the correct thread in the Community Forum. Please do not discuss concept art or movie trailers here. This should be a spoiler free zone--I cannot tell you how many times movies have been ruined here by loose lips! This thread is for set discussion, not set (and/or movie) speculation. Thanks! Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Based on Groot's size in the trailer, I wouldn't be surprised if they went the nanofig route instead of using the baby mold. Can't wait for the new sets; I'll have to set aside some money for them! Quote
