Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

I cannot see them skipping the Milano. As much as AFOLs love variety and new material, kids are going to want the iconic good guys main ship (and maybe a few adults who missed the last one). The new version doesn't need to be better, it just needs to be available because it will be the ship kids want.

Seriously excited for the Detroit Steel set! I think that the mech looks cool, and I love how they included Justin Hammer as the inclusion of a prior villain is nice. The fact we are getting an official Coulson is phenomenal - I've wanted him for ages and now we finally get him, I am excited! Lola is phenomenal too - I am going to tweak the design slightly but I think that they actually did a really good job within the piece-count restraints that they have to work within. Day one pickup for sure - hopefully with some VIP points!

That's my reasoning as well. And for kids of a certain age, three years ago may as well have been forever ago.

I agree. Also let's not forget, we actually got Quinjets for two years in a row, and they weren't that different. I really doubt Lego's gonna skip on this opportunity.

I do not have the original Milano. However I don't think I would have space in my budget for a re-release (which is the reason I didn't get it in the first place). Anyways, mostly I'm hoping for new neat figs.

I hope we will get him with that wings, I think he might be in first set because two robbers is nothing exciting. It would make customers want to buy that set.

Perhaps we'll get new arms like the Manbat arms for one variation. That would be the perfect way to represent the web wings.

Granted, now that I've said it, I've doomed us to getting a crappy plastic cape that goes on his neck.

The only thing about those bat arms is that the arms themselves are bent and curve upwards. I hope they make a new piece like that but with arms straight out and with smoother wings, but I doubt they'll even do a web wings variation.

I said new arms like the ManBat arms, not the same exact pieces. The wings on the bat arms wouldn't work for the webbing wings at all, it would have to be a new piece. I would prefer the arms be a little bent as minifigure arms are always a little bent.

Release date is 30th Dec at £30, this is the set I want most as well,    https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Iron-Man-Detroit-Steel-Strikes-76077 ,..hope Toys`R`Us will be stocking this as I`ve got me 20 quid Lego gift card to use!

£30?!?! Oh my god this set keeps getting better and better by the minute. I was already planning on a day one purchase for Coulson and Lola alone, but I was expecting between £40 - £50 for this set. At £30 this seems like a massive steal and I am incredibly excited for it! With my £10/£15 off at the LEGO Shop, it seems like I am paying £15 for Coulson and Lola

Awesome ... Thor sets! ...Thor with helmet, but if we do not get Odin and Heimdall ... Asgard will be incomplete so the gameplay, collection and other works will be considerably smaller...
If Spiderman will have three sets Thor must have them too .. he had three films and no other film probably will not be and Spidey has only one :)

They are both getting two sets, I highly doubt there will be an exclusive or another mystery set.

Anyone else stayed up to watch the Spiderman trailer? Well it just premiered and we know what the 'Avengers' robbers in the bank heist set are. They're just robbers wearing Avengers cartoon masks lol  Also the Death Star makes a cameo appearance (but I'm pretty sure it couldn't break like that but whatever )!

What a great time to be alive! Can't wait until July!!!

I LITERALLY just came by here to say that! I think those guys might wind up being my favorite figures of the year, to be honest. That sounds like it'll be incredibly neat. 

Now, back to watching the trailer on repeat for the next few hours!
