I see??

It looks like they press against them more than I'd like… exerting pressure on it.

The effect appears to work, as you push the blast towards the arm, then like a flickfire missile it'll launch. However this will cause tension on the hand, stretching and eventually snapping it. Unless I'm wrong, none of us really know what it'll be like until we own a blast piece

Ah I see.

Just like super jumpers its unhealthy to use it with your lovely minifigs.

and also as for the new mold for Ironman, yea I'm hoping that we'll get Mark 1.

I don't like that superjumpers. And i'd lub to get Iron Man Mk1.

the thing with the super jumpers is that you're not supposed to jam the legs in, but rather press down on the super jumper BEFORE fitting in the legs of the minifigure, that's how they slip in and then stay on tight. I still wouldn't use them at all since their point is to throw the figure at something and nobody wants cracks or print damage in their figures. Anyway, it does look like the blaster feature would cause arms to crack, especially white, tan, flesh and brown arms. Those colors I always see cracks on.

You're also supposed to bend the figures forward when you take them out. Used the Super Jumpers once or twice before. Pulled the first one out with brute force... minor scratches on my Chima (I got that for free, okay? :P) minifigure. Afterwards I figured out you bend them forward first.

I don't think it will hurt the minifigure like the super jumper. It's just like pulling out a tool from their hand, and their hands should be able to bear it. Even you break his hand, it's still pretty easy to replace it.

Knew it wouldn't be good. It looks cool but I always doubted how good of a play feature they would be

Still i hope they'll make the power blasts in a few other colors too (fire/ice) (magical green) :-)

This is my hope as well. Want a couple of fire ones for my Human Torch :)

If I'm correct the first year of Guardians also didn't show up in the catalog.

First time we saw the Milano was at comic con, that was the first time we saw a set for GotG

Some pics of the Guardians of the Galaxy minifigs (Mantis, Star Lord and a Ravager to be precise) can be found on flickr in the "LEGO" group. Mantis hair piece with the antennae looks nice and Star Lord uses the new Superman hairpiece
