Picked up the new marvel sets today. Detroit Steel is a great set at a great price, Captain America's jet is just dire (not even a normal torso for Ms Marvel?!) and the Hulk set is terrific - but almost 50% more in cost than it should be...

Favor please! Can you do a close up fig with the Detroit Steel mech?

EDIT: btw, Happy New Year guys!

Not really, he looks light gray in most of his scenes. It's definitely a mix of light gray and sand green, but light gray honestly looks fine.

Drax is grey. Gunn had this conversation recently on Twitter.

Hey, if some of you in the UK have got your hands on the sets, can you enlighten us as to why there are two Kamala torsos in the set if it's made obvious in the instructions or packaging (that is, if there really are two in the final UK release)? Is it just so Adaptoid can steal her powers?

I assumed it was included in case there's something wrong with the part; with a smallish new mold that's vital to the set, Lego would rather be safe than sorry. But people with sources here on this forum implied there was a reason for doubling up that would be obvious if you got it.

That's exactly my point

Brickset has what you're looking for.

He wants a close up of the actual mech build, not the minifigure.

They also have videos for the other sets.

*Sigh* No, I meant he's green in the comics.... My point is that they made him grey for the movies in stark contrast to the source material(something Gunn cerntainly isn't affraid to throw out the window despite how good the movie is).

I originally thought the Hulk vs Red Hulk vehicles looked okay, but after seeing a build review I've changed my mind. They look unfinished and boring and don't even look very fun for kids to play with. The only redeeming function is that when you ram the vehicles together head-on, Hulk and Red Hulk are catapulted off. The set could have been much better if they made a building for the Hulks to smash (like Hulk Lab Smash) instead of the lame cars.

While I would've rather had a location based set, I mainly just get sets for the minifigs these days anyway. The cars being poorly designed is certainly unfortunate, but I was never going to use them for anything.

It should be March 1st. At that time, the GOTG 2 sets should come out too.

Why would they release both at the same time? It seems like a bad decision to me.

He said it was to avoid any Hulk confusion and because Gamora was also on the team.

When else would they be released? They're not out this month in the US, so March is definitely the logical choice.

Really happy with the Iron Man Versus Detroit Steel set! As a massive Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D fan, I was excited when I heard the rumours of Lola and Coulson, but the initial images disappointed me a little, as you all know. I want the products to be more accurate to the LEGO Games (However fragile for release they may have been). That said, I am really happy with both Coulson and Lola! Coulson is a great design for a minifigure which captures his simple aesthetic but adds some unique flair to a suited torso that we haven't seen before through the inclusion of the SHIELD ID. Lola is well built too, with the overall product looking great - and special props to all the attention to detail in the dashboard, where we get a sticker and levers! Detroit Steel is nice but the weapons stick out a little too much. I like Iron Man, but I am unsure of the 2D Print on a 3D element - perhaps something I am still to become comfortable with. That said, I bought this set for Lola and Coulson, and for £5 with £25 VIP Points, I am incredibly happy! High hopes that the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D set passes review! :classic:

You mind taking some pictures of Iron man and Detroit steel? Thanks in advance!

Not trying to add more confusion, but I did hear from somewhere (Not from Captain Unicorn) that Ayesha would be in the middle set. Take that as a grain of salt though.
