ANNOUNCEMENT: EUROBRICKS CHAT ROOM

Hi guys,

today I can announce the brand new Eurobricks Chat Room!

This is probably not the final version, it's advertisement stuff and from what we have seen so far it isn't the fastest service either. BUT it's free and it should work for us!

So please enter it via the front page (at the left, last link (Jipay, we need a button! :P) "Chat Room") or via THIS link!

Has anybody tested it so far?

I'm not completely sure, but I think their server has some traffic problems currently, can't access the room.

Please post your experiences here, the more tester's informations I get the better I can fit the chat room to our page!

It looks fine Apo,

There are a lot of pretty cool options inside ;)

The problem is that I was alone and you can't chat with yourself :-D

EDIT: I was still alone but I just noticed the coll noises on that chat room :-D So watch out at work - keep the volume off ;)

Good job Apo, at least it is a start :)

But I think that there are a few minor problems with it..

Disconnected. Close Bravenet Chat and restart.

We'll soon come up with a much better chat room! Just be patient! :) (actually it's already uploaded and we're currently setting up everything!)

The sounds are cool.

I think the only thing that could be improved is the color of the writing - is it possible to have a different color for each chatter???? (that would increase readability!!).

My experiences with the chatroom so far: I followed the link, it went to install the applet and crashed the browser. I was not impressed.

I decided to switch to a better program for the server, it should be up soon, Apo and I only need time to customise everything and reprogram some parts fo the stuff

As time is relative to location its a bit hard to determine exactly when you mean. Its already night time and almost tomorrow here, so I shall try again in about 20 hours.
