marvinblue Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Well done on a very impressive and well thought out pair of buildings. They both look great and compliment each other rather nicely! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Excellent MOC with many nice details: I like the old lego lights for the warehouse and the white modern leds used for the station. Inside the station it's lovely to see so many stuff and the man that cleans the floor and the water effect is amazing! Quote
ER0L Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Very nice! It's especially great that you managed to omit any Nonlego lighting, the combination of Light & Sound plus PF lighting works very well. Also the buildings as such are beautifully designed and built. Would be glad to have this in the new "LEGO Technic City" group on Flickr (see https://www.flickr.com/groups/legotechniccity/), but unfortunately you don't seem to have a Flickr account ... Anyhow, very well done! Quote
Mestari Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 I do have a flick account, but I still have to get myself together and upload my first photo there :P I'll do it, definitely, sometime in not so distant future... Quote
eanair Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Love the detailing around the windows, and also the canopy over the platform. The station blends perfectly into your layout too - great work! Quote
LegoManTroy Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Great Job. If you can build a modular train to be part of it that would be even better! Quote
Naptown11 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Yes, that would be good, but I didn't know the tracks would be there until just before the exhibition. The tracks where laid there in addition to where I planned them. This was done to show some side-track activity as well. On the next exhibition that will take place in Poland, Jordanów in September 20-21, it may again be a completely different layout. By the way - this will be the last exhibition for this train station. I will dismantle it afterwards. Next year I want to have new station :) That makes complete sense. Do you ever consider selling your old sets like this since you will be making a new one? Quote
Brickextreme Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Nicely done. Really like the use of colors and detail. The lights and background are a really nice touch. Quote
Mestari Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 That makes complete sense. Do you ever consider selling your old sets like this since you will be making a new one? I don't as such MOCs would be too expensive for anyone to buy. And it would take me a while to get parts together again for the next build and time is at premium with two young kids around ;) As a side note I'm curious how much are people generally likely to spend on a MOC. Does that happen anywhere? Probably eBay. All sorts of things happen there :P Quote
