Suproc Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Wow, this is beautiful. That dark red and green combo really pops. 10/10 from me. That tree in the background could use some more love though. Quote
Mr Greeble Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Beautiful. I love the use of the large green pieces. Quote
Darkdragon Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Your wagon looks great, so much better than the one I was developing back in 2010. I really like the clean look and the color choices. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 It was us who was wanting a caravan... Definitely top notch. The color scheme works really well here. Are those just 1x2 jumper plates stacked to give that ridge effect on the side? Looks great! I agree, the tree could be changed a bit, but it works well for the whole scene. I like them drying some laundry. Seems fitting for those gypsies. Quote
Littleworlds Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 A lovely departure from the usual knight-and--castle focus of medieval MOCs. Amazing arrangement and building: the cart is simply perfect and the little details like the cloth-lines are a perfect icing on the cake Quote
BrickCurve Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Great build! It is nice to see the masonry profile bricks being used for something other then stone. Quote
blackdeathgr Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 As i also wrote at flickr this is great! Easily best creative use of that dark red brick profile so far and a really innovative idea! Cloth-line is great too and adds greatly to the build! Μy only remark would be that the tree in the back needs indeed some love (its trunk that is). Quote
Dzoni90 Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 Thank you all very much! The tree looks better live, I just shot it from the wrong angle and I noticed that after editing. However, if we assume that this is a steppe and that the trees can be in various shapes and looks, I guess it could look like this. Maybe I will add some leaves to it, but I couldn't change those pics. Are those just 1x2 jumper plates stacked to give that ridge effect on the side? Looks great! Yes, they are. Quote
Regenerate builder Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I really like this. Great job building the carriage. The hanging capes are a nice touch. Quote
Gunman Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Really well made caravan mate, I like the use of the dark red profile bricks for wood texturing. Quote
halixon Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Very nice build! I like the colors on the wagon itself. Quote
x105Black Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I love this build. The little details of the carriage and the camp are great. I like the decorative boards covering the windows, and the dark red bricks work really well for texturing the wooden walls of the caravan. I also like how you didn't use the Fortune Teller CMF. The woman here is more interesting and different, and all of the minifigures fit in nicely. Good job! Quote
Vorkosigan Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Excellent MOC! The carriage and whole scene are really evocative. I like the use of the elven chairs as window covers, and the pirate woman's hair for the gypsy. Quote
Athos Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Great work. I am going to be stealing that design for inclusion in my layouts. Steve Quote
Hexx Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 This is great! I esspecially like the color scheme, as well as all the thingies hanging around the door :) Laundry is a nice touch as well. Quote
Jellyeater Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 It's beautiful, but I cannot help thinking that it's 50% bigger than it shout be. Or the horse is just a pony. :) Probably more accurate scale: Quote
Pate-keetongu Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 I love the colours and the usage of dark red masonary bricks as the wall. Quote
