Posted July 9, 20168 yr Hello everyone... I just decided to buy Sheepo's Rubicon instructions... but I'm a bit concerned, i dont have any 9.5L springs unfortunately... Are there any replacements? Hacks? Custom springs are welcome... but how? I really need your help... I dont think its impossible
July 9, 20168 yr Author Wouldn't it be easier just to buy them? I know there is something called bricklink out there... but maybe there is not even a single store here or even shipping here...
July 9, 20168 yr You might find a way a round it with some mod, but as Zux mentioned, buying them is an easy option, knowing that many Bricklink shops sell and ship worldwide,
July 9, 20168 yr Where are you? That would help a lot in determining whether any bricklink stores will be able to ship to you.
July 9, 20168 yr You could take a spring off of one of these: and put it an assembly like this: It isn't very reliable, but you might be able to use it.
July 10, 20168 yr Author Where are you? That would help a lot in determining whether any bricklink stores will be able to ship to you. Iran... International payments arent available here
July 10, 20168 yr Geez, I was going to say something along the lines "Unless you live in North Korea or some other country like that, you'll find a seller." I did not ever consider somebody on this site actually being from Iran. Sadly, you're probably going to be SOL, unless you can find somebody local with the parts you need, or you can somehow kludge something together to get it shipped to you via out of country relatives. Also, given how many parts that are in the Wrangler, I'm sure there will be others that you won't have. I heartily recommend Rebrickable.com, because they can tell you how your inventory of parts compares to a creation you want to build. Honestly, the most I can do is wish you luck, you're going to need it.

Lego sets here are so common, but not seprate parts and people look at lego just as stationary statues... Btw the only parts I dont have are those springs ;) Ive even built the terex and madoca's wing body :D
July 10, 20168 yr Iran...International payments arent available here Ah, that makes it complicated. Checked which tells me 1 extra hard spring is somewhat equal to 2 soft ones. These are much more common, but not sure if there is space to fit two springs per wheel in a model you are building.Soft springs are much more common so you could probably find sellers from Iran-friendly country (like Russia?).

I have 8 soft springs and 4 hard... but all 6.5L
July 10, 20168 yr How did you pay for the instructions then? Sheepo's website seems to use Paypal, so can you use that to transfer money to people outside your country? Those springs are expensive by the way... I didn't expect they'd go for 10 euro's each.

Fortunately there are some ways to pay for instructions Wait, if you can't use bricklink how will you get the rest of the parts? I have many sets :D I build using their parts All of my parts are classified and ordered in small drawers... just like nico for example I use them to build, then dissmantle them
July 10, 20168 yr Sorry, I didn't mean to insult. I was just confused because you said before that "International payments arent available here", so I was wondering how you managed to pay for the instructions. I was going to offer to send BL'ed springs to you, but it turns out it's not allowed to send toys from EU countries to Iran... The list of items not allowed is really long (in Dutch), and aside from things like alcohol, weapons, items that are in disagreement with Islam, etc. there's also things on the list I don't really understand (hats, shoes, fashion magazines...). Sorry mate... Hopefully it'll get easier in the (near) future.
July 10, 20168 yr Do I see an opening for Iran's first bricklink store? ArshialQ's Iranian Bricks :) it wouldn't be the first time someone has started a bricklink store, to fund/supply their need of bricks!

I didnt take it as insult really, it was an opportunity to tell good people of all world that social medias are displaying Iran in an unreal way... and some people do prejudgment, not their fault in anyway ;) Thanks for attention though Do I see an opening for Iran's first bricklink store? July 10, 20168 yr I have 4 of these springs, and I can see no problem, according to the Royal Mail's website, about sending them to Iran. If you still need them you can have them FOC. Just PM me.
