pirzyk Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) Interesting, and is that due to the size of the railhead on the ME Models track? Yes http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/pirzyk/misc/img_20160721_140721.jpg Edited July 21, 2016 by pirzyk Quote
Paperballpark Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 It's nothing a sharp knife wouldn't solve It's only flexi-track after all! Quote
zephyr1934 Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Yep, but if you are at a show 4 hrs away from your Xacto when you discover the conflict it can be a bummer Quote
pirzyk Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Yep, but if you are at a show 4 hrs away from your Xacto when you discover the conflict it can be a bummer Or a 4 minute walk to CVS :P We worked around it by moving the location of the flex track. When I saw zephyr1934 having the issue, I went duh, that's right. Hence me bringing it up here so others will see it. Takeaway: remember to bring an Xacto knife to all shows, esp when flex track is involved :P Quote
dr_spock Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 It's nothing a sharp knife wouldn't solve It's only flexi-track after all! It can be less dangerous to file a small notch in the ME track with a nail file that your significant other may have in her purse? Quote
legoman666 Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 It can be less dangerous to file a small notch in the ME track with a nail file that your significant other may have in her purse? How do you convince your wife to go with you to a 3 day train show? Quote

Back to the drawing board I guess... Quote
pirzyk Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 *some of us* don't have the luxury of a significant other just yet so................. ... and that is willing to go to the LEGO/train shows we attend Quote

( thpt! ) But yes, definitely a good tip for all who might attempt to venture where we have been. I already find it sort of strange that my lego toolbox includes a pliers and a computer, why not toss in a knife too! Quote
