laggyluk Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 (edited) Hi I've built sort of an arcade game. Controlled with single button, much like famous Flappy Bird. Enjoy ;) Edited July 18, 2016 by Jim Lose the s in https to embed the video Quote
ddeklerk Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 I've never had any Mindstorms, so I don't know how difficult it is to program, but in concept this looks pretty simple. It would be cool if you could randomly generate the level somehow. But I have no idea how you would even accomplish that with LEGO. Quote
laggyluk Posted July 15, 2016 Author Posted July 15, 2016 Could be done but with a lot more money.. didn't even had enough bricks to build background or chassis Quote
Fissl Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 nice idea maybe you could use some scissorlift mechanism for the up/down movement, and then use the track links to make a longer game :) Quote
laggyluk Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) Actually there's a "crane" in this design that was supposed to lift the track with obstacles a bit now and then. In the end I didn't connect it because collision detection was already dodgy Edited July 16, 2016 by laggyluk Quote
andythenorth Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) You could randomise using 3 tracks, stopped by default, then have the EV3 randomly choose which one to activate to move an into place obstacle? Edited July 17, 2016 by andythenorth Quote
