Graham Gidman Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I started building this back in March, if you can believe it, but a move, time-consuming techniques, lack of pieces, and simply being occupied with other stuff (including other builds) have taken it's completion until now. Nonetheless, I really like how it turned out and am excited to hear what you guys think! Quote
bricklover Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Wow! I can see why it took so long to make! Great job! Quote
BrickCurve Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Looks amazing! I can see why it took so long to build... Well worth the wait! Amon the many other excellent details, the rushing water here is incredible! Quote
x105Black Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) This is a nice build, and a great representation of the scene. I love the way the water was done, and the landscaping looks great. The trees are also really nice. The way the rocks are clustered into dark and light sections is a really nice touch. You did a good job on the custom barrels, I didn't even notice them until I looked again. Nice work! Edited July 16, 2016 by x105Black Quote
Tomsche Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Looks amazing! The flow of the river, the rocks, it`s awesome Quote
Mr Greeble Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Damn... Everything about this is great. The water, the SNOT rocks, the trees... Quote

peedeejay Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Stunning build with again a marvelous rockwork! You managed to capture the action of the scene almost perfectly. Only needs a log of an old tree laying over the river, but maybe I'm asking for too much now. ;-) Quote
frumpy Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Well worth the effort. This is a truly amazing build. Quote
Black Numenorean Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Impressive work. You took your time and we can see it. This is almost real! Quote
Jody Meyer Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I think the words I am looking for are not allowed to be typed on this forum , simply amazing will work. I truly love the the rock work and would have loved to see a time lapse video for it...great work done here. Quote
Legogal Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Holy Cow! Nice rocks, man! Looks like a barrel of fun, too! The running water is perfect, and the trees really frame it well. I am exhausted just looking at all the details....no wonder it took so long to build. Way to gooooooo! Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Marvellous! Especially your rocks and tree trunk bases are exquisite. Quote

Graham Gidman Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 Thanks for comments, fellas! How did you make the barrels? I borrowed the technique used to make the water tower in 10246 Detective's Office. Scroll down through this and you'll find it. Quote
snaillad Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Smashing work. I really like the way the water tapers down. Trees and rockwork also look great Quote
