efferman Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 you need a pc ´which can open a zip file, then you can see a readme, some pics for cable routing and 72 LXF files Quote
Dafgek81 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Okay, Will do that when I have time. Thanks for all the work. Quote
technicfan Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 The full instruction http://bricksafe.com...mod-instruction Thanks efferman, are you able to put up what extra parts it needs from the original?. Quote
Dafgek81 Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 (edited) Thanks efferman, are you able to put up what extra parts it needs from the original?. Well, You can login to Rebrickable, add a private MOC. Take the LXF file from step 72 and import it to this private MOC. It will generate a partslist. Servo is missing in this partslist though, don't know why. Then make a set list and add the original set and click button "build this MOC" and it will tell you which parts you are missing. Please use the bricksafe link in my previous post By the way the next project. A non RC Saddletrac What is actually the difference between a normal Xerion and the saddletrac version besides the position off the cab and a fifth wheel on the saddletrac. And is there a chance on also a RC version off the saddletrac in the future??? Edited September 1, 2016 by Dafgek81 Quote
efferman Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 well, the saddle trac is a carrier for large attachments on its back. Like this and it has as option a attachment lift which can move from left to right for the rc one: maybe Quote
AFOL1976 Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Is somebody planning / making a nice attachment for the Claas Xerion 5000? Quote

Hope you will consider a RC version, but if not, the original and a saddle trac together would be good enough. Quote
efferman Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 for the rc one the chassis from the instruction should work with a different body for the non rc this should be the preliminary back http://www.doktor-brick.de/index.php/Attachment/18336-saddle-trac-lxf/ Quote

efferman Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I say that a saddle trac could work with the rc chassis, even when there ar some changes needed. btw Quote

efferman Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Yes, it is for saddle trac, and yes additional lights should be possible Quote

freestylerlf Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Hi effermen I have few question to ask about your mod. Its my first time to use Lego Digital Designer program. I finished building step1 and I opened step2 and I got confused. I used 1 servo motor on step1 and I could see other servo motor on step2 and step3. So do I have to look for a page that I stopped on next slide? For example, if I finished step one(20 pages), do I need to go to page 20 on step two? And did you used number 2 bags for this mod? Do I get enough parts for model b after this mod?? I never used those battery packs before. Is it the same size as the regular ones? Its really amazing work that you did. Thank you effermen Quote
efferman Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 hi freestyle, the parts which you have assembled in step one, you have not to assemble again. for the b Model i have never looked if i have parts of it used. but i guess you have not ebough parts to complete the b model Quote
efferman Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 White Crossaxles are quite rare, so which colour the railings should have Quote
Siegfried Meyer Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 The ladder would recommend black The ladder ist to wide IMHO Quote
efferman Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 you are right Siegfried, but actually i hve no time to optimize it. This weekend is a exhibition where it will be to see. So i have to live some days with this imperfection Quote
