Aleh Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) Hey fans! Today I'm gonna to share with your my latest project. This is middle or even small scale American Truck. It's all RC. Also I/m planning to make a white cab for it from suitable parts. HD photos: http://bricksafe.com.../american-truck It has the next functions: XL- motor for driving M - motor for steering M - motor for gear shifting. It has 4 speed Sariel's sequental gearbox M - motor for the pump A Pair of front and a pair of rare lights. Openable doors and hood Pneumatic PTO for the trailer. PLease enjoy the photos, click to enlarge. Video coming soon... Openable hood PTO for pneumatic, Fake Manometer (Air pressure meter), fake lights to light connecting trailer in the dark Now here are some photos with trailer. Loaded and not. As you can see, all wheels in the trailer are simply but suspended. Very expensive loading, though)) - Brothers? - Definitely not Edited July 20, 2016 by Aleh Quote
Mantarri Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 One word; Beautiful! P.S. Emojis don't count as words. Quote
jgw Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Very nice truck! i like the color use. I have some tips for you, but they are my opinion how I would like the truck more. I would remove the wheel covers, as they make the tire look thin. Instead, make something in the rim. Second, which I think is a must although it can be difficult to apply. The front windows of the cabin would shine if they were inclined. Place them under an angle, it would definility look good! I think that the truck is very nice! Quote

Very appreciate it! I have already removed the wheel covers, future video will show it. For now a couple of outdoor photos, because I took it to Minsk Truck Trial :) Edited July 26, 2016 by Aleh Quote
Aleh Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 (edited) Improved instruction is available. Truck has 1374 parts! I tried to make it better and easier, even simple than my Euro tractor truck. Quality is higher. Here and there and make red rounds to attract the view.. Only in that I can't cope with the video for now( Hope you'll enjoy this MOC! I do not remember such scaled any motorized truck. Please correct me if I'm wrong... http://rebrickable.c...-american-truck Edited August 10, 2016 by Aleh Quote

brickphisto Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 That's a beauty! I love to see some rather small scale vehicles here amongst all these fantastic large models from time to time. Looking at your truck memories of the Model Team sets come to my mind (even if those were not Technic sets). Well done! Quote

Aleh Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 Finally I reached out with the modest video: Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Thanks for video! :-) It seems like driving forward is not that "good"...perhaps the front wheels hit something when steering or so? Quote
nerdsforprez Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I love this truck. I especially love the fact that the scale is a little smaller than we are accustomed to seeing. But I also agree with the comment above, is something hitting/scraping when driving forward? Quote
Aleh Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 Thanks guys for your comments! Very appreciate! Unfortunately you are both right - when wheels turned left or right it seems that they hit the 2l lbg beam. This little problem can be improved by replacing it for the 1L round pin connector 18654. I have plans to rebuild this truck in white top and red bottom. Quote
