Thank you for this model. I have just receved the last pieces to build il.

I choosed to change the color to orange like the 42056.

Unfortunately the liftarm 1x2 thin does not exist in this color :-(

You could use dark orange 1x2 thin liftarms.

You could also use a black one and add a few more black details, for instance the engine cover and the rear bumper. That would also give some more resemblance with the 42056 Porsche:wink:.

LXF-file here.

Thank you for the file and pictures. I will try this color scheme ( 48336 - Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Handle on Side - Closed Ends

and 92280 -  Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Clip on Top does not exist in orange I already replaced them with black version)

For the moment, I made a thin 1x2 liftarm by cutting a thick 1x2 Liftarm with Pin Hole and Axle Hole...

Hello didumos.

I know the amount is a bit older. But I have something to add.

First, I tried to build the Mini Porsche in white. By slightly different arrangement of the parts by chance, a transformation model was created ....:wink:

The other black Porsche, was created at the request of a friend. it is to represent the Porsche of "Hank Moody" from the series "Californication".

It seems the acquisition of Bricklink by TLG has some consequences. I received this email the other day:

Quote

Hi Didumos,

It has come to our attention that the following Studio designs have infringed on IP-related designs:

These designs have been set to Display only, which means that only design information will be displayed on the design details page. Parts information will not be shown, and the ability to Easy Buy the design or download the Studio file will be disabled.

We value your creativity and hope that you continue to enjoy the Studio Gallery. To learn more about copyright infringement related to the Studio Gallery, click here.

Whose IP are you supposedly infringing on?

It could be TLG being concerned about Their Porsche licence. In the world of computer games Porsche are well known for being very restrictive on licensing.

I guess when they will buy Rebrickable, that will be the end of professional hobby MOC-ing.
Luckily I'm getting out of Lego, so I'm not really affected.

if that happens I'll most probably stick to buying the occasional official set and spending more of my money on my other hobby ... weekend toy / sportscar

That´s one mindblowing PR gag (again), the next step following a brillant long-term strategy. It made me laugh and cry inwardly at the same time. Really, those people in the highest floors of the HQ are flying so high, it´s unbelievable :angel_sing:. The harder will the impact be after landing some day. They are kicking you in your megablocks "softly" and don´t realize their own megablocks soon will be hurt so badly :ugh: ...

"We value your creativity and hope that you continue to enjoy.." :roflmao:

Let´s hope they don´t dare to do so, but it would be a logical next step to "drain the swamp". Nothing will be left afterwards. It will not be the end of the hobby, but it will be the launch back to the middle ages. And no, they can never stop me building what I want to build, that´s for sure.

Looking at the 2020 lineup and comparing it to e.g. 2013 leaves you with no big choice than what you said.
