Lasse D Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Whoa! That ship looks better each time we get a new picture of it. Say hello to the top of my "need to have" list for 2008! It is not only a nice construction, but also a great set for parts for what I can see. There were times when I could only dream about building such big ships with my bricks, and now it will become a set! *wub* Quote
Asuka Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Great new sets indeed! That new car looks good, the navigation bridge of the Ferry Quote
Oky Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Those little promorional looking sets seem to be mini-recreations of the normal sets, but instead of the Ferry there is red little doppeldecker airplane. 8-| Is this some preliminary mistake or a sign that there will be a full scale model of that? That would be sweet! :'-) , although it would be weird, too, as I can still remember the model of the Red Baron's plane very well, and I don't think that this would be much any different than that, except for the count of wings. *wacko* Does anybody know more about this? The Cobra Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 So is the cool convertible. (Sorry, item is not available in this country: Italy.) Oh, I wouldn't buy it anyway. Quote
Asuka Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Hey, why not, Cobra...? It looks like a very smooth car, and that folding car roof´s a nifty little feature too.... And that stego looks very neat and detailed too, with an interesting color scheme, charming and useful. It´s great to see that this line keeps going on to provide us with pretty smart models and a lot of cool bricks, and especially with something we nowadays fairly miss within the MF set lines.... alternative models! A hurray for 'just imagine' on! And thanks for the news, iamded and The Cobra. Quote
Holodoc Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 We were able to see that set in Billund. It IS very cleverly made! I was very surprised that the doors close very smoothly. They don´t get stuck before they close and after that you cannot see a slightest gap. Cool. The roof of that convertible can be stored in its back. Have we ever seen that before? Wow again! Can´t say anything about the allternative models, though. Quote

I won't post all the links as there's too many books! Click here for the Lego building instruction site. Quote
Siegfried Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Building instructions for Cool Convertible, Stegosauras and Transport Ferry are now up at S@H. Thanks for highlighting this; I downloaded them all! While the ferry is still my favourite I think I want them all... Quote
Svelte Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Thanks for highlighting this; I downloaded them all! While the ferry is still my favourite I think I want them all... Yeah, I was trying to avoid buying any of these, but the build of the ferry does look like fun. I almost think I'll get this over the Coast Guard tower. And I love the caravan. When was the last time we had a proper Lego caravan?? Not so keen on the Steggy though. Quote

metalandi Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I just came across this picture at brickshelf and there seems to be a new factory set yet to come out in september! also do we get a more than good picture of the new castle jester Quote
Freddie Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 A Hot Rod!? Sweet! Cars are a bit huge, though, but the (functional) details make up for that. Quote
metalandi Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I think the cars look awesome great detail on them, and i dien't even know such a set was coming out until yesterday! I wonder how many parts it has and what's inside the garage. I can go with the size of the hot rods, since it's a factory set. Quote

metalandi Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Oh thanks for pointing out, i didn't see this! Quote
slimninj4 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Really I was not impressed with 2008 sets for creator. I was looking to get more of the smaller sets like PODS or in the small containers. Those are great impluse set at 5$. At first I wanted to get the white convertible car but saw it at the store and was not so impressed. To day my favorite creator set is the 6in1 truck with trailer and two mini cars. That was an awesome kit. Quote
