Posted January 1, 200817 yr Why is Aquaraiders still in the 2008 catalouge? It must be selling really well, but then couldn't you make more sets? I'm dying to get some more... I'm sure the kids would love em' to! X-D
January 1, 200817 yr You scared me for a second! I thought you were implying that you found new Aquaraiders sets! 8-
January 1, 200817 yr :'-( This was supposed to be in the ambassader forum, please move it.. The embassy is not a place to badger the ambassadors about new products. The topic is fine here.
January 1, 200817 yr I really like the whole line. I don't have any of the new sets but I got the old school! One of the biggest sets I got as a kid was the giant Stingray ship! And even before those stingray guys were the aquasharks and all that!
January 1, 200817 yr Frankly, I was very excited about Aquaraiders when they first came out. I bought em' all. But now... eh, I personally don't care for the line. I think LEGO should focus on other lines of their own creation, like Agents, etc, and develop more of their own lines like this one. They should release the original Aquaraiders as legends..... ;-)
January 2, 200817 yr Why is Aquaraiders still in the 2008 catalouge? It must be selling really well, but then couldn't you make more sets? I'm dying to get some more... I'm sure the kids would love em' to! X-D They may be in the online catalogue, but they certainly are not in the 2008 Jan-July Aus catalogue...No sign of them in there at all.
January 2, 200817 yr They might just have alot of them to sell, or they're selling fairly well anyways and are keeping them around, which frankly, even though they are nice sets, I do doubt. Walmart and Target had almost the whole Aquaraiders line on clearance after christmas, along with alot of other sets. Also notice they have almost every 2007 set in their too, anyways? LEGO did really good here, and i think AR will age very well, and in time, will be remembered as one of the more sucessful lines... just give it time.- BM
January 9, 200817 yr Same, when they came out i was sort of excited about them but now they are kind of boring. The good thing is lego should continue with this sort of thing, non- liscence certianly gives a sort of freedom that other lines don't get.:P
January 9, 200817 yr I don't own a single of the Aquaraiders sets, I just keep comparing them to divers, which in my opinion was one of the best lines ever.
