This is a gorgeous model. The shape, the details and the colour scheme are beyond excellent. It is the first time a Le Mans racer is exciting to me, I usually find them rather dull. Congratulations, I hope you do well in the contest.

those turbochargers illustrate the depth of your talent perfectly. Some simple pieces, elegantly put together, and the sum is much much greater than each of the parts.

A bit late, but I was busy lately... As other said, a masterpiece! I think its a very awesome, lively and awesome looking bastard of studded and studless. One of my faves. Also those wheels and covers are a great combo!

Thanks all!

A bit late, I know, but as I promised, here is the transmission, showing the sequential selector, gear changing rods and the gearbox itself (the gear placing is different than the usual 4speed's):

Axles:

Lime green: goes for the indicator in the cockpit

Blue: main gear changing axle ("crankshaft")

Yellow: main axle, this one selects the gears, the Bionicle eyes actuate this one's knob wheel

Light blue: input in the gearbox, from differential

Green: output from gearbox, goes to the clutch

Rubber bands are hard to fit in LDD, but imagine one to the ball joint directly above the yellow axle. That's responsible for the 90° rotations. There is another limiter with rubber band, not shown in the pictures, that's for disengaging the clutch. Full size pictures: http://bricksafe.com...2-c---185-scale

It's not so compact gear selector, rather that I focused on the single lever gear switching, the 962 C had enough space in length and sideways to integrate this mechanism.

I think the LDD model will be finished in a few weeks.

So when does Tamás get his "pro" tag? He has proven his scales in trial truck building, machinery building, small and big scale building, now supercar building. He is also regularly blogged on TLCB. He's the best Hungarian builder.

Second that, he´s one of the best along with you, Lipko ;-). Although his models don´t scream for attention at first glance and they arent´t designed for this purpose, I admire such building style (e.g. his Liebherr cranes, Unimog) with so much attention to Model Team style details everywhere next to all sort of Technic functionality. That is something very hard to accomplish both in one Lego model, even if some people may call it not "pure" or "clean" or whatsoever. And to point that out - he didn´t build it primarily for the contest or to get into HoF somewhere, but because he just loves doing.

Thanks again guys! I received the package too, the big plexi display for 42056 is a fantastic surprise, it's the same in style, as the Lego set. :classic: We have a collection of model cars beside the 1:18 Norev 911, and we usually entrust one of our friends to make a professional display housing / showcase for unique model cars. But in this case this isn't necessary, nor for the die-cast model.

Only failure, I think, was with the certificate, I found nowehere. Where were yours? In the top of the 42056's box? Maybe I missed something?

Tamas.a plexiglas display? Does every winner ( also runner ups) recieve that?

This one (Dokludi also showed, so yes, every winner receive that):

My glass case, despite careful packaging cracked due to arrive in the shipping company. I do not know what to do. But anyway I am very pleased to have received things.

You should let the TLG know about it. I guess there are contact details on the paperwork anyway. As they've booked the shipping at the first place so they can make a complain at the shipping company and send you a replacement right away. Don't be shy on this, you deserved to have that display unit right.
