AnkTales Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 (edited) I present a moc of my creation whose theme is the world of the legendary Ninja Turtles. This is the first of a series of videos that show the construction of the underground lair. The minifigure used are those found in the early sets Ninja turtles, not those dedicated to the TMNT film released in 2014. For fans, these are the very "classical" Turtles! If you have not already done so, please subscribe to the channel to follow the next upgrades. Enjoy! Edited August 18, 2016 by AnkTales Quote
Jim Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Nice work! I have frontpaged it because it can use a little extra attention Quote
AnkTales Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 Jim, thanks so much!! I am really glad :) Quote
LegoAndDisney Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Fantastic stuff! I absolutely love the attention to detail inside the lair itself. Reminds me of the classic toon Turtles, which I was always sad we never got sets for. I loved the opening segment with the pizza delivery guy haha! I always thought that minifigure was made FOR the turtles :P You should definitely make more... Quote
Cody Startale Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Nice, I love it! That TMNT line, though... I remember like three years ago when they were first released. I tried not being that much of a Lego nerd back then and wouldn't want to spend my money on all those sets just to get all four turtles. I thought it was "too expensive". So I thought I was being clever when I bought all of them as keychains and removed the chains. They had holes in their heads, but at least I had all four turtles! Well, guess what... I ended up buying sets anyway and now, I have every turtle 2 or 3 times It's a real shame they have ended the line. This had a lot of potential.. I am just glad that I got all the necessary minifigs in time, even Karai on her bike, which is really awesome. I always wanted to build a lair that embraced the designs of the 2012 cg series as well as the 1980s cartoon, but I haven't made it that far yet. So I will keep an eye on your progress Are you into customizing? Because I have created a Bebop torso decal from the cartoon, if you want it :) Quote
KamalMYafi Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 (edited) I have frontpaged it because it can use a little extra attention You have triple same post of the "TMNT Ninja Turtles Lair Stop Motion" post on the frontpage! Edited August 4, 2016 by KamalMYafi Quote

gamejutzu Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Is this MOC based off any specific version of the lair? Quote
