Hi guys,

Now i want present you my third entry for the Star Wars MOC Olympics on Imperium der Steine.

Round3 - Top8

ROGUE ONE – A STAR WARS STORY

"Build a MOC to the coming Star Wars Rogue One film. Take scenes from the trailer, concept ore other thinks (48x48studs)"

It was very difficult to build the scene on 48 studs an make all the effects from the trailer scene.

Great build and very well captured scene. Impressive, most impressive.

If I want to get nitpicky, I'd have removed the bright reflection on the back of the hood of the dark hooded figure in the centre of the image - then the photograph would be perfect!

Ahhh!! that is so awesome! The only thing the lego version needs is the lit up bacta tank and then you're all set.

Your building technique is excellent as well. I can imagine you had some difficulties with all the angles and the limited space.

One of the best Star Wars mocs this year imho.

The construction of the center console is very solid, and you've really captured the shape and details of the room, but the real success is the incredibly atmospheric photo. Great job and good luck in the contest!

Amazing work! The first time i saw those pictures I thought that you just photoshopped the background to match the scene but then I realised that you recreated the whole chamber in bricks... Jaw dropping!

Nice work! At first, I thought the only LEGO in the shot were the minifigs. You really have to look close to realize this is LEGO.

I am taken aback this is a brick build. I can't even begin to deconstruct how you built the center console and the circular grating at it's top.

Just had to sign in after a few months of lurking to comment on this. Absolutely incredible work, all details are in place and, frankly, there was a second there when I wasn't sure which one was live-action and which one was LEGO.
