markus1984 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 (edited) Hi guys, Now i want present you my third entry for the Star Wars MOC Olympics on Imperium der Steine. Round3 - Top8 ROGUE ONE – A STAR WARS STORY "Build a MOC to the coming Star Wars Rogue One film. Take scenes from the trailer, concept ore other thinks (48x48studs)" It was very difficult to build the scene on 48 studs an make all the effects from the trailer scene. Hope you like it and thanks for watching! Markus Edited September 1, 2016 by markus1984 Quote
DarthTwoShedsJackson Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Great build and very well captured scene. Impressive, most impressive. If I want to get nitpicky, I'd have removed the bright reflection on the back of the hood of the dark hooded figure in the centre of the image - then the photograph would be perfect! Quote
Green Rey Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Ahhh!! that is so awesome! The only thing the lego version needs is the lit up bacta tank and then you're all set. Quote
michaelozzie Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Oh wow this is great. Another highly impressive build from you Markus. Quote
Legopappan Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Oooh, this is such a great interpretation of the movie Scene! Your building technique is excellent as well. I can imagine you had some difficulties with all the angles and the limited space. One of the best Star Wars mocs this year imho. Bravo! Quote
jimmynick Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 The construction of the center console is very solid, and you've really captured the shape and details of the room, but the real success is the incredibly atmospheric photo. Great job and good luck in the contest! Quote
LegoMedGuy Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 This one is really nice. I love the walls! Quote
BrickShady Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Amazing work! The first time i saw those pictures I thought that you just photoshopped the background to match the scene but then I realised that you recreated the whole chamber in bricks... Jaw dropping! Quote
kibosh Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Nice work! At first, I thought the only LEGO in the shot were the minifigs. You really have to look close to realize this is LEGO. Quote
Forresto Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I am taken aback this is a brick build. I can't even begin to deconstruct how you built the center console and the circular grating at it's top. Quote
Joemmo Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 This would be awesome if only the guard on the left was holding his pike at the correct angle... ;) I'm kidding - what a great build. Quote
GalbynZ Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Awesome!!! It's an amazing job you did! Congratulations Quote

Richpepperell Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Is there anywhere we can see all the entries for the MOC olympics? If the others are half as good as this, it must be a sight to behold! Quote
Legopappan Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Thanks very, very much  Now i can only say - Yes i`m at the finals - absolut great! markus Congratz! Well deserved and good luck in the finals! Quote

Nth_Brick Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Just had to sign in after a few months of lurking to comment on this. Absolutely incredible work, all details are in place and, frankly, there was a second there when I wasn't sure which one was live-action and which one was LEGO. Stunning work, and great photography and editing to boot. Quote
markus1984 Posted September 10, 2016 Author Posted September 10, 2016 and thanks again for your great words to the moc! Quote
